Actually there's several artists who did before she was born and currently too. She's very talented and successful, it doesn't take anything away from her, but she's sure not the only one. Maybe you should expand your knowledge of country? Start with the pioneers, the greats. Like Miranda's hero Loretta Lynn. Dolly Parton. Two super successful stars who far surpass Miranda ( so far, bc Mirandas young). Remember Reba? Look at the less visible ones, like Connie Smith, Jeannie Seely. Their hits are AWESOME. Look at the success of Bill Anderson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and George Jones, Bobby Bare, Buck Owens. Besides their songs they had businesses, did movies, so many things. George Strait? Blake Shelton? You'll be busy awhile but you'll enjoy it.

I'm not a country music kind of person but the lady who controlled the music we listened to at work only listens to country. Whenever this song came on I found myself secretly enjoying it.
