My parner had a stroke 6 days ago. The hospital was not able to administer ATP treatment. He is followed by a team of specialists ; they have identified that he has aphasia Bernicke and the two types of apraxia. Its very sad. Your videos bring such a ray of light as they help me better understand the challenges he faces in his rehabitlitation. You have a wonderful way of explaining things and prviding concrete examples that are so useful Thank you! Thank youso much for your videos.

Thank you for this video, and your many other videos Miri! I have been watching your videos since mid December and when I found out I did not pass the first time, I was devastated. Your positivity and me adjusting my mindset is what helped me switch for this go around. I take the exam again on Monday and I will pass this time. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and positivity to me and the community! Your smile reminds me to smile and know that failure does not define me, and I will be a great OT!

Sweet Mikayla... You just made my day. Thank you so much for sharing your story, heart and journey with me. I understand the devastation that comes after not passing the exam, and my single highest goal and purpose here is to do everything I can so no other student will feel the kind of loneliness and anxiety I felt. So imagine how happy it makes me to know that my videos can bring a smile to your face as you're going through this journey- it breathes life into my work and my heart. I hope you'll carry that same smile with you when you go into the prometric center this coming Monday. Don't let a man-made test question your worthiness and capacity. You WILL be a great OT and you WILL move mountains as you leave your beautiful footprint wherever you go.

awww thank you for sharing that with me, Jenni! I'm happy to hear my videos have provided some comfort and positivity during this time. I was often very stressed and anxious when I was preparing for the exam, so it was my goal to create resources and support system that could alleviate some of that burden from future test takers. I'll be thinking of you and lifting prayers today and tomorrow as you prepare to sit for the exam. Go in there confident my friend and don't let a single question make you doubt your capacity, competence and potential. Everything you need to pass is already within you. Many blessings and love to you.

THIS is why I do what I do- to help alleviate any burden or anxiety you might be feeling so that no one would feel the kind of loneliness and anxiety I once felt when I was preparing for the exam. I know how overwhelming this process can be, but if I can play even a small part in helping you tap into your faith and confidence, then all my efforts will have been worth it. What’s the difference between Apraxia and Dyspraxia? Because even Dyspraxia includes Ideation, motor planning, and execution 🤔
@aniqachowdhury9112
@aniqachowdhury9112 4 жыл бұрын
depends on the literature, some places use it interchangeably but I would say it's better to see it as Apraxia is an acquired condition seen in adults and it is the condition in which clients struggle with already learned skills. Whereas Dyspraxia is seen in pediatrics, it is seen as a developmental disorder as it is more to do with the learning of new skills and creating new neural pathways. (I hope this sheds a little light:))
