Ah yes " Picking out cat hair" arguably one of the most important stages in the process

@@MisakoFlodin I had a teacher who also worked with forgeries, she said they could identify them from pet hair sometimes, and how artists picked it out or left it in. Kind of fun to hear it has always been a habit. Apparently Henri Matisse had three cats and his paintings were absolutely covered in hair he just left it!

i myself love to use hundreds of colors but i never seem to have done it as seamlessly as you do! to say that your works are breathtaking is truly an understatement. i cant imagine how tough it was to paint stroke by stroke... this van gogh master study of yours truly reflects how much work and thought you put into it. i could stare at it forever!! + i love what you did with the background so much! how the cream and the vibrant deep blue just complemented the whole portrait... that was really mesmerizing + last edit HOLD ON i just searched the original and i just wanted to say this- (no disrespect to Mr gogh) BUT THIS BEATS HIS VERSION REALLY i will always be in awe of your artistry 🥺

If van Gogh would still be alive, he would be so proud of you. This is most beautiful copy of Van Gogh i have seen!
This is an incredible video. I think one of my favorite parts about how you document your journey is that you show how much time and effort is put into your pieces -- This doesn't happen overnight, and it takes days. As someone who sometimes sits down and expects to crank out a masterpiece, this video really helps.

I just realized after watching a few of your sessions for the first time and focusing on the oil pastel painting how accurate the initial drawing is. The proportions and capturing the expressions is just wonderful. This is a pleasant learning experience ,including the breaks which are so important to really see the work so far done. tom

A rare find on here, absolute and total artistic mastery, going to have a go as I have two reasonable copy oil paintings of Vincent's 'Wheat field with Crows' and 'The Starry Night' and were my first ever attempt at oil painting, they turn out not too bad, have them hanging up in my hallway. Now fancy having a go at another of his paintings but with Oil Pastels, but have become quite critical of KZbin tutors on here, having been a teacher, trainer, photographer and three years of study of art, I believe I can recognize exceptional talent and your videos certainly are that. Beautifully photographed, calm, slow and fantastic close-ups showing technique so the viewer actually learn, also it appears you are a very attractive young lady but you ensure all your shots are about completing the painting and not you, your aim is you want students to create, enjoy and improve the art of drawing and painting and you certainly do that. I doubt no way am I going to create just 20% of the level you have but I know I will learn a great deal even if I do that. Please keep doing such fantastic tutorial videos, any chance of an Edward Hopper 'Nighthawks'.

And I really thought that the John Singer Sargent master study you did was my fave oil pastel portrait here in KZbin and then you just went toppling it down with this one. It's a superb master study!
