I think they often picked questions to suit the panel, which they had researched. Plus the lyric is pretty familiar if you’ve heard more than 4 records.

Even funnier that Phil Lynott got the Queen song since his band, Thin Lizzy, toured with Queen 7 years prior to that tv show although I don’t think Seven Seas of Rhye was played on that 1977 Queen/Thin Lizzy tour although it was played on Queen’s previous tour.

Well said :) I wish this type of tone as seen in this video were more prevalent today on TV. It does carry a certain type of charm and elegance; that I think would just be wonderful too if this were common in society as well. Personalities that are oh so just serene and kind :)

I was terrified of Nick Beggs as a kid, that beaded hair in Kajagoogoo and the way he swung his hair round, and realised today that yes he is terrifying. Almost colourless.
