The Walther PPQ SC is the best polymer striker fired pistol I ever owned. I never grow too attached to any polymer wonder 9, and will sell one to try out another knowing that they are all readily available. I sold my PPQ SC after I put about 8,000 rounds thru it without any issues. Only reason I sold it was I already had a P99Compact and figured the PPQ SC would be easier to find down the road if I wanted another one. The only pistol I regret selling. The plastic insert striker assembly is the best part of the pistol. Part of the reason I put 8,000 rounds thru it in 9-10 months (2019 when FMJ ammo was $8.99/50 rds) was that I bought into what i read people saying in the comments that Walther cheaped out with the plastic slide insert, not the same quality as rest of PPQ lineup. This is all poppycock. It’s the best PPQ because the firing pin is pretty much indestructible, much more robust than PPQ/P99 firing pin. Internal extractor and overall design is very cool. They are very hard to find right now.

I love both my PPS m1 and m2. The PPQ is great also. I prefer my PPS to the Sig P365, but it would have been nice if Walther tried to improve the capacity for a m3 version.

They have a patent for a magazine which might hint to a high capacity micro compact.

Yeah I saw that. It's been a few years since that was filed and still no gun. I've grown tired of waiting. Even Canik beat them to the punch, which is a true slap in the face given that Canik basically stole the P99 design upon which all their guns are based.

I prefer the paddle to the buttons for mag releases. But as a lefty, I'm used to awkward mag releases manipulation.

I decided some time ago to keep my handguns right handed (I’m in the lefty club). Mostly keeping the mag release right handed. At the very least, it takes my finger off the trigger when I drop a mag. Anyhoo, lefty world has me liking paddle too.

Walther P99 AS for me. I still think it is the best gun Walther made....

I really wish they would come out with a subcompact into a m1 I love my ppq m1 but it can be a little big to carry every day, the first pps had the paddle but isn't quite as comfortable but a really good shooter . I think if people would train a little with the paddle you would come to love it. Have a nice Christmas.

I have a walther p99 as it seems smaller to me I think it's the way it was designed it's not boxy it seems to have been built around the human hand it's more a large compact but it holds 15 the magazine and one in the pipe it's got alot of safety features double action on a striker fired on a center fire the usual drop features no sharp edges cofortable. To carry it's got a nice light weight itrust my life on it

I love paddle releases. Really great once you get to know them. Low profile, but very positive tactile function. Use thumb of non grip hand to work the paddle and catch/pull empty mag in web of said hand for best results. This can all be done while keeping pistol aimed on target with grip hand while you reload with the other. Same can be done with a button too I guess but it is much easier with a paddle. Mery Christmas.

I use the pps m1 paddle mag release. It just fits. I know it is there, in a good way. Every day carry. Have tried double stack (fns compact,h&k p30sk, cz rami, others) pps is the one. I have added truglo night sights other than that stock. I have found I can shoot it quite accurately. See no reason to change. Great video. It is a very personal matter, for me it has to do mostly with weight and the way it carries. Very unobtrusive. Happy holidays.

I gave up on the PPS when, some time after I started carrying an extra mag, I figured I'd might as well carry a double stack instead. I'm not big enough to pocket the PPS, and it's not big enough to be worth IWB holstering.

I carry the HK P2000 or Walther P99 primarily, though I do occasionally carry a Walther PPK in .32 when I'm just walking around my neighborhood or a quick trip to the store. If Walther offered the PPS M1 in an AS version I'd be all over it.

I love gold plated P08 pistols in .30 Luger. That said, I have a social duty to be an armed member of the unorganized militia so should be armed with a commonly used 9mm service pistol that can be readily concealed. That means a Glock G19 or a SIG Sauer M18.

@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 i train in New Orleans. One of the most dangerous cities in America. I don't carry on most official races. Because there is security and crowds. But late nights running through Central City, 7th ward and through the mighty 9. New Orleans the city, is pretty small. From the river to the lake it's less then 10 miles. You really have to run all over to get miles. And most parts are pretty dodgy. I switch it out at times with a Micro Desert Eagle. I always wear a belt and cargo shorts to take the weight.
