What advantage do you get with the higher mounted intercooler versus your lower mounted one? I can see some reduced AC condenser and radiator cooling having something else infront…. I what if y’all did your lower mount but also helped improve airflow through the fins and out the back by improving the sealing around the front opening and then making a duct that mounted on the back that helped move air out and away from the back side to improve airflow? Just a thought

thought about it more and it would help with cooling depending on front mounting extra off-road equipment.

It provides a space to mount a winch without having to have it sick way out front

Although I'd be a bit worried about the reduced airflow the radiator has now with the intercooler blocking it and dumping all the hot air over it.
