Dani I have to point out that Curacao also won as First runner up at Miss International 2017 while Mister Supra SOUTH Africa was also the first runner up at Mister World 2019 held in the Philippines! So let's not sleep on these two

If it is any indication, for the Mister competiton, the short guys are going to be overlooked instead of looked over. Beauty standards for men are even more narrower than those for women if the past winners are any indication. All lookalike with the exception of the blond and clean shaven winner from the USA.

Thank you Dani for your great review of Ms Philippines performance. If only you knew, how much our kababayan's (fellow Pinoys) bashed her for her prelims performance such as; poor runway, poor energy and projection and were even told that she was the weakest candidate sent to Ms Supranational. I felt sad for her. Your comments on her prelim performance made me feel better. I know she will do good in the closed door interview. I want her to enter the finals so that the Philippines' winning streak in Ms. Supra won't be cut, otherwise she will be blamed and bashed hard by the Filipino pageant fanatics. 😢😢

Dani i love your reviews. But I have to say that your review on the supranational pageant isn't accurate. I think you are judging it from the perspective of the Miss Universe pageant. Supranational focuses more on softer nature candidates not the confident outgoing ones like Miss universe and Miss grand. But I do appreciate your review though

The organizers told me that they got rid of scores. Experts, rather than judges, are asked if candidates poses certain qualities. For for "swim" they said it's now the confidence round. I'm curious who the experts will choose as most confident, or how they will determine that.

My favourite has to be Bryoni Govender from South Africa, my birth country! Check out her history with SA pageants! On the subject of Miss South Africa : are you & Luis aware that the current Miss South Africa is under way & for the 3rd year they have a reality show Crown Chasers & down to Top 16 ?
