I feel ya Miss Jackie. At a previous job of mine we had a 10.00 secret Santa limit. I barely had that. It was a rough year. Little did I know my coworkers spent--- way more that 10. To top it all off I worked with a bunch of d catty judgemental fools who found the pretty crystal ornament I bought for the woman hilarious. They were gifting expensive wallets and scarves and gloves--jewelry. The woman I gifted the ornament too was gracious and recently told me she still hangs it on her tree. I wish Miss Jackie had worked in my office then.

Ornaments are precious timeless gifts. My mom recieved a clear ornament ball that kinda a perfect bubble years ago when I was just a kid. I called it "The Wish Ball" and ever year I gently placed it on the Christmas tree and wished for a good Christmas. Every year my wish came true except Christmas 2001. My grandfather was in the hospital: pancreatic cancer. He passed New Years Day, 2002. I stopped believing wishes could come true after that.
