It’s a culture thing. A man who refuse to poor the drink would get the same consequences. The refusal and talk back lead to face lost of the senior. I don’t get it either. In Asia seniority, elders and so on seems to be a big thing. It’s also reflected in the languages. Oppa, senpai, Unni and so on. In a cultural aspect I understand why this is or was necessary, but sometime the extend is to much for me.

@@praekon yes it is a cultural thing as far as status and seniority, but a lot of these are not ok with the upcoming generation. Just like some employees are pressured to go drinking and such with upper management and are groped and harassed about not wanting to go along with this behavior. Just like anything, people will push things way into a whole other level and hide behind traditions and customs.

I think this is a crime. Unless there is real evidence and not hearsay people should not be shamed like this. If they do wrong they will eventually suffer for it. I take it all with more than a pinch of salt. With the exception of bullies and those said to sexually assault I think that when the industry collectively says a person is a "problem for being disrespectful" and its a woman, its either she is or they are getting back at her for not doing certain things. Ofcourse they would feel free to say "she didn't want to pour drinks" but it might have been "she didn't want to spread legs". Infact to me its a real problem that male dominated work places tend to foist this idea that women must serve them in the workplace, more than 90% of the time I as a woman don't feel comfortable at these after work alcohol get ups because guess what? I know someone is gonna push it, touch a leg here and there or flirt here and there...and if I don't want? I'm problematic and must be taught a lesson.

As for Lee ha hee, I can completely understand her withdrawal, Coz, she had the most ridiculous growth in her character in the drama East of Eden, well it can be called a stunted stupid role she was moulded in later, I was furious and appalled by how she was used as a pendulum between two brothers. Totally understand her withdrawal. Ma dong has always been the most lovable teddy, Even Angelina Jolie stated she had blast filming the movie, Ma dong does not like to talk a lot and its one's personality.. even Hwang jung min does not promote. But in all these controversies.... I still stand by Seo Yeji, I still feel she should be given a chance.

I have to say between the netizen critics, the Korean 'fans' and situations like this getting out into the public domain it is a wonder anyone wants to go into the film and RV industry in Korea - on the one hand when stars/actors are difficult then obviusly word gets around but as has been stated sometimes there really are two sides to a story and in the case of Kim Jung Hyun he was in a very difficult situation though to be fair this was his job and he should not have been manipulated by his girlfriend because he could so easily have jeopardised his entire future.......I can believe that hearing what heppened to him with Seo Je Ji the fact that she was then said tobe difficult to work with does not surprise me, but perhaps if the staff had walked off set and refused to work with her it may have stopped had she realised that it was not reasonable behaviour. As for Min Hee and Sang Soo I would say this is a good thing people should be less toleant of this kind of behaviour I feel sorry for his wife and child/children who have had to live with all this.

I understand why they must not cast actors tainted by immoral behavior. I cannot enjoy any show where one of the tainted actors is cast! For example, recently I watched Hometown Cha Cha which I enjoyed immensely! Then I found out that the main lead actor (Kim Seon-ho) is said to have treated his girlfriend in a despicable manner! So, when I watched "Start-up" I did not enjoy it at all because I could not separate Real from Reel!! And to make it worse, both the male leads are bad boys in real life!!
