I am so pleased, it was my secret wish. I think as you say Luke she will have a great life eventhough she has a lot of very serious health issue. I think it is impossible not to get attached to these little angels. Miss Violet is incredible, the way she socialises with her impairments. Thank you for adopting these twin cuties. Take care. This is wonderful news! Sam may have cried a flood if Miss Red had gone to a new home, but I bet that Luke would have shed a tear or two as well. Happy day for everyone! I know how it is to take care of special needs puppies. My boys are Rotties like Freddo. One has seizures and the other one has GI issues with daily steroid use. I know how demanding it can be but I love my furbabies. We have it all dialed in from the diet all the way to their regimental nap times, and supplements for them. They are worth it. They make our day and the love that we get from them. Congratulations!!! I love the happy ending.

Thank heavens they are staying! I was so worried Auntie Sam would go with them. Of course, we know how tough Sam is. We saw that when Yo-yo was in the tub getting ready to go back to the shelter. Such strength……standing in the driveway crying. One of those “best moments”. I’m not sure if Australians retire athletes numbers, but The Farm will retire colors. Hoist a red flag and a violet flag up the flagpole. There will only be one Miss Red and Miss Violet. They would make a wonderful children’s story. What a fun project for your girls. The chances two special needs dogs would even be kept anywhere else with so little chance of adoption, special needs, medical bills, always keeping an eye on Miss Violet - few people would take either on. Luke and Sam look like the dogs are doing them the favor by staying at the Farm. Luke wears his heart on his sleeve - just beaming! ❤️. Awesome. Thank you.

It would have been hard to imagine them apart. Sisters with so many challenges, but with so much love to give. Welcome to your permanent home at the farm, beautiful girls. Phewww, Sam there's no need for those floods of tears. That's got to be good. This is the outcome most of us secretly hoped for. Now, will the chain be broken, or will it remain intact? Will Shadow (Miss Red & Miss Violet's mother for those who are new to DDFT) also be a foster-fail? She's become so confident & happy now she knows there are no threats & that she is loved (something she had never known before). Her pups, despite their challenges, are so lucky in that they have never known anything but a loving environment. Think of the tears if Shadow left the farm...

They can't keep them all 😆 they now have six adopted dogs in a very short space of time. I would love to Shadow in a wonderful new home with someone very special where she can have a one on one wonderful bond with someone and millions of cuddles all day long if she wishes. it will take some divine intervention for the right people to come forward for her and i pray for her, but if that doesn't happen then i guess she will stay too which is in *no way* a bad thing. she has found peace which is so so beautiful to see, and i don't expect she's any bother at all now on the farm. i love her to bits and would miss seeing her around, but we have to remain real and true to each dog and their needs 🙂💖

Saw the title and yelled 'Whaat?? ' I was sad and happy at the same time, and instantly mourning the fact I wouldn't see anymore Ms Red and Ms Violet adventures. I experienced all that in the first 5 seconds. 😂 I remember how torn you were about separating these two. These two will live their best lives and be so loved there on the farm. When I first saw the post my heart sunk a little. But then it hit me that both were being adopted. I watched the post and Happy days are here again! Thank goodness Luke did not play around with it and let us know right away!!! I'm also glad they are keeping their names. They know them and respond right away (when awake).
