Final Q&A is not the final determining factor to win Miss Supra. It has been proven again and again. Look at 2023. Andrea (ecuador) won because of relatability over Pauline (PH). Consistency is also key. Indonesia is so consistent in performing well in all challenges. And lastly, Indonesia is multi talented and well liked by the miss supra org. Another fun fact: it is the 1st time Puteri Indonesia sends its winner to miss supra (this is Harashta’s choice too). Background: usually Puteri Indonesia sends its winner to Miss Universe or Miss International. This is a big deal to Miss Supra and especially the 2 Miss Supra president & boss attended the Puteri Indonesia finale as special guests. My message is: performance during the final is important but you still need to bring a value to the Organisation (miss supra followers jumped from 200k to 500k after Indonesia is crowed) and being a consistent stand-out helps. :)

Thanks, for this honest review @Dani! The sequence of the runners up leading to the winner surprised me as well. It was indeed a big shocker to see Curaçao placing as fourth runner up after she had won the supra chat, after her top-12 answer and, particularly, after her top-5 answer. I truly believed she was going to end as first runner up (like she did at Miss International 2017) or even win. She announced on her socials that Supranational will be her last pageant... Huge congratulations to her, to the winner and to the rest of the top 5!

Since I have been following you since 2018 when you were Miss Montana, I am going to tell you some foolish things. I will allow myself that pleasure as it were. What did you do to your hair? It looks curly and I love it. Remember when you did that video with that nice French man, and he put your hair up? It's still my favorite and I remember I wanted you to wear it like that for finals. How time flies. Because I am not a professional but just a fan all of my comments come from pure emotion and instinct rather than knowledge. I was so sad that both Philippines and South Africa were not in the top 5. Philippines gown was so sweet and elegant, but Miss South Africa's gown could be perhaps one of my favorites all time ever competition final gowns. It was absolutely breathtaking, nothing groundbreaking but she looked like a Queen. After the question round I really thought that Curacao would win. I loved her in 2016 in Miss Universe and wanted her to win, HOWEVER, with our own USA doing so well and looking so beautiful and speaking well I thought wow is it our turn? All in all, I am THRILLED that the beautiful Miss Indonesia won I love it when a new country wins, it is always so exciting. I hope Miss USA will consider competing in Miss USA don't you agree? Ok now I am hoping for THIS content. Looking for your early picks for Miss USA. Miss Arizona at 41 is so good I believe she may have an excellent chance at the crown. I think this class of 2024 is one of the most beautiful ever. Stunning beauties to choose from. But here is the no surprise. Miss Texas this year is absolutely BREATHTAKING. As an Indonesian, I want to be honest and unbiased. In my opinion, the answers given by Miss USA and Miss Curacao were far superior. Their responses were more articulate, deeper, and made more sense. In contrast, Tata’s answer was plain and generic, lacking in articulation. Her reasoning for why she should be the brand ambassador for Miss Supranational was weak and unconvincing, stating merely that she has a passion for performing arts and confidence. That’s it? Additionally, her answer to the final question was very generic and lacked uniqueness. I’m sure we’ve all heard advices like “Don’t give up on your dreams and never doubt yourself!” Tata’s answer lacked depth and uniqueness. In contrast, Miss Curacao demonstrated greater experience, maturity, and intelligence. I believe she and Miss USA deserved to win. While I am happy that someone representing my country won the contest, I feel their answers were more deserving.

I understand that you love your country and will always stand up for Tata. I, too, love Indonesia, but I aim to be honest and unbiased here. From my observations, Tata doesn’t seem particularly intelligent; her answers were quite basic, and her ability to articulate her thoughts is weak. Additionally, at only 20 years old, she likely lacks significant life experience and wisdom. In contrast, Miss Curacao has participated in many international beauty pageants and consistently reached the top finalists. Anyone with a discerning eye can see that her public speaking and articulation skills are impressive. Tata may not be the most beautiful or intelligent contestant. While she is talented, she may not be the best artist in the world. However, what sets her apart from the other contestants is her humility and purity, qualities I deeply admire.

@@junaidybukit8014 Right, we can never fully know what happened behind the scenes. We weren’t there to observe the daily interactions and events during the quarantine. The judges likely considered how the contestants interacted with each other, with those around them, and their overall behavior, which only they could fully assess. I agree with you that the judges evaluated not just the stage performances but also the contestants’ behavior and interactions during the entire quarantine period. If the contest were judged solely on stage performances, it would be easy to argue that other contestants deserved the crown more than Tata. I also agree with you about Miss Czech, Miss South Africa, and Miss India. To be honest, I personally find them the most physically attractive contestants.

No but Mr Supranational plays adverts for 60% of the time of the show and then give little time to the girls. The girls deserve their moment to shine. Also headphones are necessary. The top 12 question should be 30 seconds not 20 seconds

Always a big fan of you Dani but lets admit it, ur judgemnt and recap can be a bit bias because u and luis were invited and thats what they are aiming. But we are happy for u. We understand. I just really wish tjere werr some areas of improvements here and there because we know therr werr plenty. You can be critical of other pageants so miss supra shouldnt be an exception ❤️

In fairness, Dani didn't talk about other contestants either. Her focus was on those contestants who made it into the higher tier finals. If she talked about India then other countries that didn't make it into the finals would be complaining. She has to draw the line somewhere and that is to focus her episode on those who did make it into the higher finals.
