@DaniWalker: Florida and Arkansas were twinning especially in swim. I couldn't tell them apart last night. Most of the evening gowns were very inspired by Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner (Makati) and Miss Charm Philippines 2023 (Baguio).

I agree Miss Hawaii is the girl to beat, She ace the Swin and E.Gown competition the only downside is she has a remsemblance of R'Bonney. They kinda look similar.

Utah’s swimwear is everything. That pose in the middle end before she went to back to the main stage was iconic I think even her gown performance was perfection. And IOWA took my breath away in the evening gown… I literally gasped and gagged.

I agree about Utah in Swim, she was the best in my opinion. Her walk can compete with the powerhouse countries at Miss Universe. I'd like to see her in a different gown for finals.

I can see Utah winning miss USA this swimwear and evening gown performances were so spectacular my jaw dropped on the floor. She is showing that Venezuelan Americans can do great things at Miss USA.

Utah has definitely the walk. Having the best walk doen't mean wining, specialy in miss USA. But she will definitely place without a doubt

Dani, keep up the fantastic work! Your videos are always timely, thoughtful, well-researched, and the perfect duration. Rhode Island, Virginia, Kentucky, Hawaii, and Utah are my top 5! Wisconsin and Nevada had spectacular swim performances, Iowa and Pennsylvania had incredible gown performances, and the North and South Carolinas could squeeze in there! Massachussets is my personal wildcard--she seems so sweet! Best of luck to all the ladies.

Hi Dani, since I have to be nice and not honest, I will only state the ones that stood out for me as Beauty Queens. ILLINOIS - My winner Runner's Up: 1) Pennsylvania - I love her natural styling and confidence. 2) Wisconsin 3) Utah 4) South Carolina Virginia Florida Ohio California Kentucky Iowa Hawaii DC Rhode Island - Beautiful but her movements are very Robotic

Agree, all the Ladies did a great job during the swimsuit. Hawaii (looks like Sam Panilo), Kentury looks like Miss France 2023. Illinois, Utah,Virginia with wow factor for me . For gown - Cali, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, Michigan and Utah.👏👏

You can really feel the Swimsuit Round if the background is beach or something a place you would wear a swimsuit. Hope Miss Universe will do the same for this year's edition

Daniii! I have been waiting for this and you said EXACTLY what I was saying about North Carolina today. She's so likeable and is by FAR my personal favourite... natural charm and stage presence, but I was telling everyone today that I was so worried about her walk, especially in evening gown being very bubbly. I HOPE she doesn't get marked down for that because to me she was SO likeable and I SO hope she gets through. Love from Mr Gay World Australia 2016.

I feel this pageant has the same spirit as Miss Universe 2020. Not only are the swimsuits the same designer (OMG, the BEST swimsuits for Miss USA in years and maybe ever) but there are so many girls who reminded me of contestants that year. That being said Miss Michigan came out like a bat outta hell! She was wonderful! I just hope she’s not like Nepal or Iceland that year and everyone was losing themselves over how great they were and then they ended up not placing. But crossing my fingers bc she was one of my favorites, Gave me Asya Branch chill with a hint of mischief.

Love the organization’s choice of swimwear this year. So flattering on everyone. Well done! There were definitely stand out gowns! But for me…some girls are not natural walkers and it ruined the “walking” part for me…my top choices based on natural grace, beauty, and all around fashion forward sense….KY, VA, SC.

The absence of R'bonney in the coronation is a total tragedy that would never happen to any country even if she becomes the reigning Miss Universe. They would be so proud to showcase her on their entire week of choosing her successor. But not in Miss USA not only they replaced her immediately with her first runner up it was if they really never wanted her at all.

Shout out to Laylah Rose on making the interview score twice as much as the evening gown/ swimwear score. Yes, a beautiful girl can put on a beautiful gown, radiant smile and show off a toned body, but you have to be able to match it with your personality/ spirit. 👑👑

Thanks for sharing. Most of these women are exceptional. Except for a very few - say five or so (also beautiful but not international beauty contestants), any one of them could win and I'd be pleased. Let's hope that the judges choose the contestant with the best answers. If I had to choose just a single contestant, it would be Pennsylvania. Illinois' gown and styling was among my favorites. I won't change a thing about it. Texas wore the best gown. Miss Hawaii is a beautiful woman but she is also competing against last year's winner and I'm not sure she brings anything new to the table, She seems to be doing everything well though.

I was hoping you would have offered your opinion on New York's gown choice. When I first saw it I thought, "Oh no!" To me, the saving thing to the outfit was that huge flowing cape. I hope she's saving her best for the actual competition. She's my choice to win. BTW, I was pleasantly surprised by Minnesota's evening gown performance. I thought she looked beautiful! She's been a dark horse in the competition.
