Cranberry Orange Fluff Salad | Thanksgiving side dish | No bake dessert idea for Thanksgiving

We had Friendsgiving with some of our cooking creator friends! Psalm 34 Bakery made the Chicken and Dressing, Danna Standridge brought delicious green bean bundles, Mama Sue made her Sweet Potato Casserole and I made this yummy no-bake dessert.

CRANBERRY ORANGE FLUFF SALAD - no bake dessert Mix together: 1 can of whole cranberry sauce 8 oz. pkg of cream cheese 2 tsp. white sugar Warm in microwave 1 minute. Mix with hand mixer. Add: 11 oz. can drained mandarin oranges. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours Fold in by hand: 8 oz. Cool Whip 2 C mini marshmallows Plate salad for presentation. Top with: Chopped pecans.

I make something very similar in a loaf pan. The difference is I add crushed, drained pineapple and freeze it overnight. It's refreshing when served ice cold sliced with Thanksgiving dinner.

I make this with fresh cranberries n omit the oranges n I use heavy whipping cream not cool whip. Yours looks so good So good..gna have to try adding the oranges...

Try lying about the cottage cheese. All my family loved it and swore they hated cottage cheese. They thought it was Ricotta cheese!

@@terrig2298 I always use Cottage Cheese, Egg, Parm Cheese and Parsley. I can't tell the difference if I use a ricotta, just the price, ricotta much more expensive.

Add a small can of crushed pineapple and a few chopped pecans and it's perfection! OR.... you could add the pretzel sticks before serving like in Strawberry Crack!

You can make the first part ahead where you add the cream cheese, cranberry sauce and sugar. But I would wait to add the other ingredients.
