You and your channel are the "Ultimate Guide to Advent Calendars"! You were disappointed about 2 calendars not available in the US and we are disappointed that most of the UK calendars are not available here in the US. I don't know why they do that. The UK does have the best ever calendars! I usually get the Laneige calendar for myself and one for my friend but skipped this year to treat myself to the Space NK and my friend got the products I didn't need especially hair care plus she's getting some Elemis this year which now she's hooked on like me from your video last year! I love the P.Louise calendar this year and the train brings out my inner child! (There’s even a window mentioning 50 Christmases which is perfect for me this year!) I am pretty new to P.Louise and if you have been getting the budget boxes I get it could be a bit repetitive! Your unboxings are very informative and engaging!

What you do is set up a post box through a company in America. The parcel gets delivered to that and then you can ship to the UK. Just a trick for anyone wanting stuff from the states. I will find the company that was recommended to me from reputable sources and come back and update.

I bought quite a few, but i was so looking forward to space nk but when i saw it i knew i wasnt interested, i think all the calenders have been too hair heavy this year, was also very disappointed in latest in beauty it was fab last year ❤ x

You can use Planet Express to forward mail to you from the US to the UK. I've used them like 20 times and never had an issue 😊

I absolutely agree with you about the Cohorted one. Their boxes really haven't been hitting the mark for me, so I'm glad I cancelled my subscription a while ago. I kinda felt like they were selling off old stock. 😕 I considered getting another one or two calendars to stock me up for the year, but I've decided I'm going to spend the money on some other bits in the Black Friday sales. Mainly Christmas tree scented candles... I will *never* have enough of them!

I know what you mean: there's some good advents selling in the UK only and not here in the US. Very frustrating! Thankfully my favorites: Harrod's, Space NK, and Cult Beauty do ship here, so I'm grateful for that.

My fiancé bought the Liberty calendar for me, in late September. I love ❤️ it, I didn’t get it last year, so it’s great for me. And we feel the same way in the USA when places like Harvey Nichols won’t ship to us. I really wanted that calendar. Great video talking subject!

Really enjoy your Advent videos. The unboxings are really useful since I found your channel last year. I've definitely brought more than I had originally thought I would. The Fortnum and Mason one didn't look great this year for the price, lots of candles and bath salts, a scrunchie, make up bag and sleep mask, I would expect more especially looking at Harrods. The Harrods is on the list to look at next year, slightly too many anti aging retinol products this year for me, very new to those only just old enough really to start using them.

I definitely agree with your reasons, i did however buy the P Louise advent even though like you i have so much stuff of hers that i will never get through, i just couldn't help myself i will however display the train as a decoration somewhere as it fits my colours and i do re gift what i won't use, plus my daughter who turns 5 on 23rd Dec has picked up on my love of beauty products so i will refill it for her next year, (with kiddies make up, bath bombs, chocolates and toys etc) she is having the castle one refilled this year, plus she sits and watchs you with me sometimes 😂 xx

This year I went for Space NK and Cult Beauty scent with love. I also picked up the Look Fantastic one, and the little Holland and Barrett one 😊 Last year I went for Sephora and Space NK. The Sephora one this year was just a bit meh

The only suprise there was the Liberty Calander. I agree the rest were just not worth it. Aww same I also still don’t have one, I was on Holliday and by the time I got back the one I usually buy or would have liked was sold out. I found out that a lot of people from USA Canada and Aus are buying the calendars here because there not very good in there country’s so they will sell our more or less day one because they don’t make enough being limited as it already is. I wish they weren’t able to do this iv managed to get one every year this year not at all it’s annoying!

As long as my 2 ladies gave theirs that's all I'm bothered about really. I love their excitement in December 🤣🤣 I get daily wassaps off my Sister with pics 🤣🤣 xx

Je comprend parfaitement votre choix. C’est des calendriers que je n’achèterais pas aussi. Surtout le P Louise. Je l’es achète l’année dernier. J’ai paie presque 140 euro entre la livraison et la douane+ son prix. Le thème le packaging sont magnifiques mais les produits j’ai pas aimé la plupart. J’ai du les donner et j’en es encore. Vous nous avez gâtée avec tous les déballage de calendriers bien expliqué et surtout vous êtes très objective .ca m’a aidé à faire mes choix, malheureusement la plupart que je voulais non sont pas livré en france . J’ai eu le Space Nk mais pas les autres . Le Fenty est vendu chez sephora france. Je respecte votre décision et je l’approuve . Merci ❤

I have to say, it kinda surprised me that you can not get the Fenty one in the UK, since it is availible here in mainland Europe, even in my country which is not one of the “popular big ones” like Germany or France for example😅

I got Harvey Nicks last year because I was in the UK but this year I’m not so I had to go for an international shipping one - I got the liberty and am very excited about it, I didn’t get it before so it’s all new to me.. and I didn’t open it yet, waiting for December! So I had to skip that section of this vid in case you talk about contents 😅anyway glad you’re not doing a full unboxing, I’d have to dodge it in my youtube feed bc spoilers.. Love your other calendar content though!

I tend to prefer mix brand calendars. If you don't immediately go "i need it" it's best to leave it. I don't know what happened to cohorted, I used to love their boxes but like a lot of other boxes the sizes got smaller or there would be less products, it's just not wow anymore.

I agree with you on most calendars however i did buy the plouise. Purely as there are a lot of teenage girls to buy for so it is perfect for me to break down into presents. Otherwise I certainly wouldn't be able to justify the spend. Train is cute though :-)

I have not got any of them but I usually get 10 or 15 calendars but this year I had 4 fragrance calendars as I have so many beauty products but can't resist buying calendars 😂😂😂

If things are not shipped to the UK, it might be due to the customs procedure/ taxes. I bought something in the UK after Brexit and had to pay a hefty custom duty in the EU.

Yeah that makes sense. I can buy all the products individually from Fenty though, just the calendar isn’t stocked on the UK site. I don’t see why Sephora or other retailers who stock Laneige can’t stock the calendar too because I can buy laneige products individually but not the calendar 🧐

The PLouise calendar is the epitome of overconsumption as far as I’m concerned. Multiple blush palettes, bronzer palettes/ eyeshadows. There is no way one person will consume that much makeup in years. I hope the people who have purchased it are going to gift some of it so it doesn’t go to waste. A lot of people complain about minis/travel sizes in calendars. I don’t mind it. I don’t need loads of full size of the same product. It’s nice to try a few things and if you don’t like it it’s fine and if you do you might then consider the full size.

I think P Louise is aimed at people wanting to become makeup artists or existing MUAs, so they include so many shades and variations to build up your kit. But as someone who just uses makeup on themselves, it’s not always possible to make use of all the shades etc.

I emailed them and they just replied about my subscription and said that I just have to check the website for beauty box offers. They didn’t specifically say no advent calendar but all of my questions were about the calendar so I took their response as there wouldn’t be one this year.
