@@MissBubbles it is a very political game game but in my opinion it makes it better because it makes the whole setting and plot make sense. also the politics introduce a very unique dynamic of trust and also fear of the characters maybe discovering that you are fleeing the country

Not at all the questline is very simple to follow and with the new update now you can expand the map to find your way around better!

Great video, great looking game. If I had a PC I would definitely check this one out. I really enjoyed StarDew Valley, but I had to much veg, and couldnt tend/harvest in a single day with out passing out, and losing most of the money I was working so hard for lol.

Are all the NPCs romanceable regardless of player gender? This is important to me. Otherwise great video, this game wasn't on my radar, but it is now!

I think gender is not an issue and can romance all 16 but I am not 100% sure. Only a few days ago the devs put out a romance focused update to allow marriage.

I feel like we’re getting to the point where people that don’t add that aspect to the game will be in the minority, luckily. We finally got same sex marriage in the newest Story of Seasons (formally known as Harvest Moon) and we are getting it in the newest Rune Factory. Japan is pretty conservative so I considered that a big deal. From a big company let along from a big Japanese company. Hopefully it will fully be the norm soon!

Question: How long was the main quest? If it's a longer story it'll be fantastic, and I'll definitely check the game out. I don't like a game with 95% sidequests and only 5% mainquests. Doesn't fit right.

Right now the main story is still in progress if I am not mistaken so it does not take that long to finish. However, this is one of those games where your progress is the story but also your 2 farms, house, marriage, etc. Hope that makes it easier for you to decide

I honestly did not run into any bug but did see other players do. I think it is totally worth it especially with the new updates that got released. Such an amazing gem!

This has been my 3rd of 4th review I've watched about this game. Still not sure on whether or not I should get it. The art style is nice, but seems pretty outdated, but there's something about the game that keeps me intrigued :/

@@MissBubbles I was concerned about the way the framerate looked in the video, but after seeing a more recent video of the game's progress,, fps was at a smooth 60 frames per second. I'm just one of "those guys" XD. This one's definitely on my list now though. Another content creator said that Sun Haven was just about as good as the Rune Factory series, and Rune Factory is pretty much king when it comes to being the ultimate multi-faceted farming sim.

I mean they are different tbf. And there is no monster taming here which is kind of the heart of RF. Otherwise, it does fit into the Life-Sim Farming RPGs we grew to love! As for FR, I did not notice anything bad hahaha. But it is safe to say the game is worth it back then and now too!

too bad it has more bugs than shrek's swamp. its still unplayable with data loss etc. not to mention the newest patch made a bug and lettuce no longer grows properly. it has potential, BUT no where near $25. more like $5 currently
