Legend. He really, really legit does not care what anyone thinks. The last couple of mins of this are the best because he is so into the music he's playing, headbanging and grooving, and every other person in the room is sitting politely still. I mean see it this way- this guy is one of the heads of the second Wave of Bm, and a freakin' music maniac (like me) and his taste is amazing- 70's Rock, Black Metal, 80's Death Metal. He's past 40, recorded 20 Albums in the last 25 Years. He's known, yet he acts like a boy of 12 being interviewed for a school mag. He's (truly) one of the "truest" (or trvest" :D) and honest metal musicians out there.

I enjoy the nervousness, not so much that it meant it was an uncomfortable setting for him, more so that its cool to see people I admire have to deal with the same shit I do. I am used to people I admire being larger-than-life well spoken and out going characters, but Fenriz is always the one guy who I feel a common bond with regarding socializing and dealing with certain anxieties. It shows you how real of a person someone is.

Same here!! Everyone but the interviewer seems so bored and uninterested, and the poor guy is kinda nervous, for obvious reasons. If I was there, I'd be quite glad to listen to every word out of his mouth. He did handle it like a pro, though. :3

At first I had the same feeling, but then I think it is just the recording really. Notice how quiet the claps and cheers are, and how aplified and shitty the recording of their voices through the mic. I think that difference gives it a cold feeling, as if everyone's silent. Whereas in fact I think it was way more cheerful.

He's honest, humble and passionate. Its no wonder people gravitate towards him, dude stays true to himself. I get the feeling that he does his best to live without regrets, and to play what he loves unashamed. His musical style has been a big influence on me for many years, and it seems im always learning something new here and there. or hearing old things in new ways, if that makes sense. Its a reminder to stay true and keep an open mind. thats how i see it i guess. Mad Respect.

Fenriz has been mentioning the Sweet Freedom album in interviews forever. So back in 2007, when I was 16, I bought the album and it opened the door to 60s/70s music for me. It kinda was the opposite process - from Darkthrone to The Doors, lol.

I love Fenriz. One night before attending a metal show my ex made some dig along the lines of "Uhhm. Yeah. You shouldn't wear that Uriah Heep shirt to the show. You will embarrass yourself and people will think you're weird." Ouch. This was right after seeing Uriah Heep live for the first time, meeting and headbanging with them on stage, and having the time of my life. Hearing Fenriz and King Diamond express how much they love the band makes my heart feel warm, so thanks for posting this.

I agree. Some people commenting here are really close minded and only judge for this video. I posted only this part bc I'm a fan of Fenriz but I watched the whole panel and I enjoyed it. The music the other people showed was really interesting, the girl showed a song that sounds kinda heavy, even Fenriz agreed and overall he seemed to enjoyed being invited

@@MissDafne92 Yeah, quite a few immature comments here, which is to be expected sadly. These fans of Fenriz should learn from him and be more open minded (he listens to loads of non-metal music). I just watched the whole video and all the music the guests brought were interesting and they're clearly passionate. Of course Fenriz's enthusiasm/charisma is more engaging, but just because the other guests aren't as expressive doesn't mean they're being snooty or pretentious. People just have different personalities and ways of dealing with public speaking.

RAY NL he had his own project called Isengard, and he did vocals for that.........along with various other side projects that he did some vocals for. Darkthrone isn’t the only band that Fenriz has been in, y’know.
