I really didn't appreciate the Osmonds when younger. I was a bit too young, during the years of the Osmonds greatest popularity, to follow them. I'm a fan now, though! I really admire and appreciate Donny's work ethic and his talent. I think he's great.

Was anyone else watching this with their mouth open and wondering how the heck Donny Osmond is able to do these moves? The energy this guy has is incredible. And his dance moves were tight! Way-to-go, Donny!

Donny doesn't over eat, doesn't eat trashy foods and keeps himself fit. He and Marie are both fit and healthy. They have health probs in the family and also heart disease. So it is in their own best interest to look after themselves.

Let’s face it, this man has talent and is never fades. Also, he knows who he is and never tries to be anyone else. He is not ashamed of any part of his career. And his fans enjoy reliving that with him. Unlike some artists who insist on giving their audience what THEY want to give them, I can see that Donny gives them what they WANT. I was a big fan of the songs he did when no one knew it was him. Soldier of love was huge proof that he was a star, period.

I’m not a professional dancer but this video was my inspiration in 2016 when, at 53, I was in a “Dancing With the Stars” fundraiser for the Cancer Council (Australia). Four years later (now in 2020) I am fighting (and winning) with lymphoma. I had no idea back then that I’d be the one benefiting from the money I raised. Life is strange - and Donny is fabulous 😁😁😁

Those boys spent so many hours rehearsing and Performing that number when they were kids that they could probably do it meticulously in their sleep. I can't even imagine the work and the discipline that it would have taken to be The Osmond Brothers. So hard to believe I'm 59 years old now and I them when I was 12 at the Vancouver Coliseum. I have never seen a Group a little girls that hadn't even kissed a boy yet faint and swoon and act like they were losing their minds. LOL I don't think any of us were ever the same. I went home and covered every square inch of my bedroom walls and Donny Osmond posters. Later growing up to be a Metalhead. Haha God do I feel old. LOL

When I was 12 I went on the London Underground by myself up to Heathrow Air port just to see The Osmonds & Donny. I was watching them from the Heathrow lounge area with my hamburger & milk shake. I watched & saw them get off the plane . They were waving at all their screaming fans. I wasn't in the crowd, I was in the airport lounge and could see them all very clearly... Happy days. 😁
@dixierae3442 Жыл бұрын
@@mariacanavan3305 thank you for sharing this memory with me Maria. I don't know if you find things the same as I do but the older I get the more valuable these memories become. It's funny how I can't remember where I wrote down a doctor's phone number 5 minutes ago but I remember getting a new Tiger Beat magazine in the mail and the excitement of removing the new poster to hang on my wall. I successfully covered every square inch of it with Donny. LOL Keep enjoying the memories Girlfriend they keep our spirits young.
