Missed my flight to New Mexico! Earthship build update 2

I managed to drive a point well 13 feet and hit flowing water. A garden hose is enough to keep it from over flowing now. The siphon on 1/2 inch garden is enough to draw it down 2 feet 48+ hours 5+ gpm. I got drive coupler stuck on 2 inch well pipe. Only had one pipe wrench. I was missing couple fitting for ram pump too. Did my research and found laws and setup diagrams on flowing wells in Michigan and have a good plan now. Gonna drive well another 18" and add 2 foot pipe with caps and 180 degree 3/4 pipe then out away from well for ram pump. Need to put down proper air gap drain to spring run off for when not using ram pump. The spring comes up through rotten tree roots and good flowing seeps are in gypsum pockets and very saline. I will be using Berkey to filter water. Started digging foundation 2 feet down to bedrock. So far have spent around 17,479$ on my build with property, well, and ram pump and plus 650$ in gas around 150$ in gas round trip. Need 23$ worth of bolts to fix my diy well driver. Getting prices for dolostone for footers and limestone rip rap for veener stone because local natural building materials and cheap. Richardsonian Romanesque earthship with a Broch is what I am going for.

Very excited to see this! I was just staying taos in an earthship. I am dreaming of building my own but I don't know if its realistic. Please show us the good, bad, and the ugly so I can take notes!

I have been to a workshop some years back wanting to learn how to go about building a greenhouse using these techniques. I knew I was not physically able to do the tire hammering but the concrete blocks is doable for me. Happened onto this by chance? I’m sorry about your troubles. New York ‘CITY’ may not be for an off grid guy. Most likely you don’t resonate with it. I don’t like cities and concrete, only the country.
