The scene and the music at the end... I always feel my heart swelling with this emotion of utter joy, of being abe to do everything, all at once. When I hear these particular tones, even without the film, I always see the white of the mill in my thoughts, John Thornton walking proudly through rows and rows of workers... It is perfection. [I'm sorry for any misspelling or grammar mistakes, I am from Germany.]

One of my favourite costume drama adaptations. Watched it a dozen times. I also think Persuasion with Rupert Penry-Jones is by far the best Jane Austen adaptation (main male characters both gorgeous has nothing to do with my choices😉😉😂)
