Always ask for a lawyer, no matter what! You can always go from Not Guilty to Guilty, immediately, if you want. Not so easy to go from Guilty to Not Guilty. You always have the opportunity to tell your story at any time, showing remorse. When the Interrogator’s claim to want to help you, but their goal is only to close the case. Someone commented that Bo has a history of sexual assaults. I'd really like to hear other interviews with people from the town who have more information. I grew up in a small town. While there is a lot of gossip and wrong information, there's also a lot of knowledge that can be found by credible people. If I heard rumors that Bo had a history of assaults, I'd investigate that and see if it was credible. It would have been a motive for the murder. Bo is smart enough to think of using his cousin, who he knows has a bad substance abuse problem.

The person who actually did the crime seems to be protected by police, courts & government. Their vindictive prosecution of the man after a jury acquitted him of murder, doesn’t mean they think he did the crime, but that they are upset with him for naming the person who he claims to have murdered the poor girl. They are probably hoping he’ll murdered in jail by a fellow inmate or they might hope he will make another false confession. I wonder how many other murders the person who actually did the crime has committed. Perhaps the FBI could find a reason to pursue this.

"Helped" is the operative word here! Why are the detectives allowed to do this? It seems they are even allowed to lie during interrogation. The end justifies the means? The only problem is this type of leading interrogation can often send justice in the wrong direction, while the real culprits go free. Anyway, I believe Ryan might not have committed the murder but he likely knew more than he let on.

@@DVD927- Well if you can open someone door with a credit card that’s throwing your life away. Every woman (or even guy) who lives by herself should make sure she has a good strong lock, especially beautiful girls like her that many guys would find attractive and the crazy ones will act on it. Today the technology is much better there is security strike plate lock, and ring camera (although the ring camera can only help to identify a robber/murderer after the fact, but it’s definitely a deterrent in break ins), having both is the best.

@@DVD927 I live like that, with very limited contact to people, and must say, it is the opposite of living in fear. It is freedom. Fear is going places, where you have no idea what weirdo's you may run into. Finally I do what I want to do, when I want to do it, and how I want to do it. If you're constantly with friends, you tend to compromise a lot, and sometimes do things you don't even want to do. Look what happened to poor Ryan.

Dukes was convicted of concealment & other charges. 25 years. He was charged in two rape cases. One happened when he was on bond in 2019. He fled; 5 day manhunt. Duke seemed to need to get the truth out there. I believed his version of what happened. Scared that the other guy got off with no time. A true friend wouldn’t do this. He picked a terrible person for a friend. So glad he got the chance to set the record straight.

I believe Ryan is telling the truth about how they hid and burned her body but that he is hiding everything else. I think both Ryan and Bo were high and drunk and killed Tara together. Since we don't have an actual body, we'll never know if she was sexually assaulted or strangled or tortured. Maybe Ryan is legitimately fuzzy about those details or maybe he is purposely not telling them but there is a reason a glove with his DNA was found outside Tara's house. Tara deserves better than all of this, if I were her family member I'd want to confront Ryan and Bo to tell them what I really think of them.

I believe Ryan will have a lifetime of nightmares, because he is remorseful. Bo however, got away with murder and shows no remorse for his part in it. Why? Well, just like everything else in this world, Money. It all comes down to who has the money to buy their way out of it. Bo Dukes is an absolute POS who will get out of prison and rape or kill someone again. HE SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH HER MURDER!!! Our justice system is flawed. Leave Ryan alone and let him do his time. Quit trying to put more charges on him. Why, if Ryan can be charged in another county, why can't Bo be charged in both counties?? This case was absolutely ridiculous.
