I can't get over just how different through mini donkeys are now! They seem so much calmer, and at peace. It must be so nice to see the change in real time. I'm probably not the first or last to say this, but thank you for saving them from the miserable existence they had before they met you. When we moved to my family's new house, my Dad had emergency surgery. On a Saturday the local football team came out and planted the sod. We were so thankful until Dad got home and looked at the front yard and realized that one group had planted their rows upside down. 😳 They were blessed to live in the home for over 40 years. No one ever knew which rows they were. My Dad always had the best looking yard. ❤

Hi Lester - I don’t believe God tosses out his blessings flippantly and you and Jami are indeed very blessed. So that only leads me to one conclusion - and that is God too is watching. He doesn’t need any silly WiFi or a Facebook or KZbin account, to be able to witness how both you and Jami have been busy blessings others for years - many animals, many people (me included!) and many companies have had the good fortune and been blessed by your kindness. I believe that’s the reason you and Jami are so blessed. On another note, I used to think how little the ‘American’ donkeys looked next to the horses, hence why one in particular is called a pony, ☺️but after yesterday’s video and seeing the new boys and the regulars meeting through the fence - the ‘Americans’ looked huge compared to the mini’s! @joannepantale483 Sincerest apologies for the late response, but to answer your question - no, I had no idea there were *micro* sized donkeys, even tinier than the mimi’s. Although I’m sure they are simply adorable, like you I hope that making them so small for nothing but a human’s ability to think how cute they are, doesn’t effect those wee babies quality of health. I often read with those teacup sized pups, they come with fragile health, simply because they’ve been bred so small - but yeah Joanne, I never knew about the micro’s. I think donkeys are cute anyway, so I’m sure these tiny ones wouldn’t disappoint in the ‘cuteness’ category! Hope you have a great day and apologies once again for my late response!

I think its funny how God works bc a few weeks back you were caring for and falling in love with Jake and Uncle Dan's and Lous minis and stated " we love them but there not LHLish, lol" and then quickly after that you had 3 mini donkeys breaking into your pastures and now being cared for and loved and given the much needed attention that was so long over due! Wonderful "real" video. Lester your tears speak so loudly. We all have lost site of our blessings sometimes. You and Jami work harder than anyone I know. I know God has blessed you extra, because you both work so hard. Now about those three mini donkeys. You and Jami were both so anti mini donkeys. But they tried ever which way to "break in" your land to be rescued. Even to the point of coming in from the busy expressway side. All they wanted was love , care and to rescued. Makes me think of Little Gary. He knew if he got close enough to your fencing you could rescue him. God is bringing the needy now directly to you! I think that is pretty cool. The donkeys are already doing so much better under your care. Deworming them and whatever else was in the vet shot brought them so much relief. Getting them over to Longhorn Lester's helped to settle them even more. Wound care, real good food. Feeling safe and loved has already changed them so much. You both are wonderful examples of kindness and love to both animals and humans. I have followed since you drove up your driveway the very first time and saw all the destruction but you also saw a remint of live. I have never left and plan on following you all my days. Thank you for teaching me every day real Christian love everyday.
