I can totally relate to Simon. I felt the same way when my cat went missing one day. Never came home. I looked everywhere, asked everyone. Spent money and time looking for her. Many years passed, I already got new cats. But I still miss and love her. Not a single day passed when i didn't think of her, where she went. Or where she is, or she's even still alive somewhere. Hoping one day i'll get to see her again. Somewhere in this lifetime. Or at the end of the Rainbow Bridge.

That's so sad 😥 My cat used to go missing sometimes, I found out he had several 'homes' where he would get something to eat and a warm place to sleep when we were at work or out. Hopefully your cat had a few other 'homes' and one adopted her.

Gotta hire scent dogs immediately, it's the best chance to find them. And always microchip and put a collar with tag on them, that way if someone picks them up they'll call you. Or the vet will when they bring them in for a checkup. Of course it's best to not let your cat out unsupervised and cat fence a yard if you have one, new cat fences are almost invisible and take up little space.

This episode was so emotional for me. I remember when my ragdol named coco went missing. i was devastated and heartbroken. I did her posters and went every single day to look out for her for 18 days in a row in crazy Irish rain. then a friend suggested to spread her litter all around the area. which i did, i couldnt sleep or eat was praying everyday posting on so many social media pages of local area, and she came back, we both lost 1.5 kilos. she is passed away now and i miss her every day. she was a closest friend one could ever imagine to have in their life.

Omgg, this reminded me so much to when my cat, Caspi got lost! I cried soooo so much. He returned home three days later, but for me it felt like months!! He truly is my baby, he sleeps on my bed under the covers, cuddling with me (he loves cuddling), he makes me watch him eat and sunbathe and scratch him! I just love him so much, whenever I’m sad he purrs and licks my hands or my cheeks! He is so sweet 🖤🥰

Simon's cat illustrator knows every move cat's make! In the beginning when the kitten drowsily wakes up then goes back to sleep, he/she stretches out his/her front legs before going back to sleep. That move is soooo spot on.

Ahh my 4 year old fur baby went missing on August 😞😞 it's been now one month and it was like she disappear from earth !! Handled 300 posters and nocked 300 houses all around and nothing ...went day and night for walks with food and leaving tracks for her and nothign !!! Love your cat bath scene! Even though it is a cartoon, my heart was breaking as he was all alone in the rain. I can't imagine how I would feel if my lovely boy was lost. He is truly my best friend! My Ragdoll is 3 now and only has a mild dislike to being given a bath, but his first bath was one I will NEVER forget. This absolutely adorable 6 lb 4 month old baby bit so hard into my thumb he was literally dangling from my hand! I had to get my husband to unsink those sharp little baby teeth from my flesh. He is the most mild mannered, laid back cat ever so when I think of him dangling from my finger (now that the pain is long gone) I laugh. Where would we be wothout our kitties Simon?

Sphynx cat is good if you are alletgic. They are super sweet and cute too! They need and love baths :) Personally I prefer just generic no breed shorthair cats as they are the most beautiful in my opinion, especially if having big eyes :). But if allergic, hairless breed is the best.

I've always loved Simon's Cat, right from the earliest days. Tofield (creator) has a gift for identifying cat owner emotions and situations that are just so relatable. The way he manages to convey emotions without talking is awesome: having no dialogue gives the episodes much deeper meaning. Throughout, as well, you can feel his love and adoration of cats, he understands their behaviours intrinsically. The animation, foley, sound and graphics team do amazing jobs pulling this all together. Like "Off To The Vet", this episode has an underlying grace, whilst still retaining the comedic value which makes this series so popular. Unfortunately, most of us have lost a pet at some point in our lives. The Simon chatacter does what we all would: checking everywhere, even though the odds seem long and the animal's return unlikely. I adore the gnome idea, that last scene made me burst out laughing. I was also chuckling throughout, the scene where he tries to bathe the cat is hilarious, as well as where Simon meets the other tomcat, and where Simon's Cat is laughed at by the mice. A small point, being serious for a moment: remember to microchip your beloved pets and keep the registration updated.

Believe it or not... My cat loves water 😂 first time I found that out was when I was showering... He just walked in like it was nothing So cute ❤️😍❤️😍❤️ 8 months later Edit: Wow... I posted this about my Cat and it's a video about a missing cat.... My cat is lost now... He is 1 years old and has been lost for a week now... I have done everything.... Dude, my cat loves bath time. We have a detachable wash head with different settings and he goes ga ga for the message one. If I turn it off, he head butts it until I turn it back on. Lol!

Me too, just lost my six month old kitten last week. He got out when our older cat went out and was missing for three days. The other cat came back the next morning with an injured leg. I found the kitten laying in the alley behind our house. Looked like a dog got him. Poor thing didn't have a chance 😭

I'll never get tired of hearing the little sounds the cats make it reminds me of my cats. When I walk over to my cats and they make a sound it's so cute. Also I like the mice and other cat characters. The ending where they found each other was so adorable!

Aw! This reminded me of the time my cat got out of the house. The door was left wide open because my dad gets forgetful when he has too much on his mind and he tried to get her back inside but scared her out even farther from the door and she went under our cars. We tried to get her back but she was so scared and jumped up a fence and disappeared. My neighbors came to help and we walked around the block but didn’t see anything. I was crying way too much to be much help so they sent me home and I sat on the doorsteps when she came right next to me, looking all skittish and like her previous self before I rescued her. She got scared again and went across the street to where she used to hide and was outside for 6 hours. I periodically saw other cats and her but she was so scared and didn’t want to get very close again which was understandable cause cars drove ridiculously fast in my neighborhood (the main reason why she didn’t roam around outside). I stayed on the doorstep with food just waiting for her. I was so worried and anxious that she wasn’t going to come back. It was really late, 1 in the morning. My dad has stayed up the entire time with me (I think the poor guy felt guilty) and we just sat and waited until I saw a blob move across the street straight towards our house and under our cars and I knew my cat was coming back. I quietly called out to her and she meowed back and snuck closer. Then I snatched her up and brought the purring kitty inside and even though she missed dinner and was probably thirsty or needed to use the box, the first thing she did was stretch comfortably over my bed and sleep

It's me And You - He reached out with claws flying and scratched my left hand causing a 6 cm deep wound (not his fault though), then escaped the bath and ran down stairs leaving a trail of wet soapy water marks. I did re-capture him (his name was Millenium, Millen for short) and resumed bathing him, after I bandaged my hand... Eventually, he got used to being bathed once a year or so. :)
