If you notice she was moving through the woods in a specific way and the field of vision followed her in the same path. I like the popular suggestion that she was leading him AROUND the traps just enough to not get caught in one so he could find her.

I think it's a mix of both young children an elderly are closer to that plane than young adults. One because they're so new to life, the other is because they're nearing death's door. I hope you understand what I'm saying cuz this is the best I can describe it at the moment and my brain's feeling kinda dead 😅👈 I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think the elderly, like grandparents or great grandparents, may also be able to see things like that because they're closer to death. That's just a theory tho... A GAME-- fine, I'll leave

So to make a little explanation. The girl and the boy met last Halloween , in which they share a candy in which she got the “you found me” message, then that same day she went into the woods and got one of the best traps in leg. She wasent able to free from it and she die there seen the last thing she receive the “you found me message”. The next year her gosht went again to the city and because he was the last person she was, her gosht kinda bond with him, and him, not knowing she was dead, go on to hang out like. When he was diagnosed with “imaginary friend” she show him and guide him the way to her corpse for te parent to realize he was not actually crazy and for him to know the truth, cause she wanted him to be happy

Last Halloween, girl (Amy) went to woods and got caught on bear trap she starved to death and she loosed alot of blood by bleeding she crawled to big tree and sitted down she got only 1 candy on halloween and she ated her last...Candy... Her dead body was behind tree 1 year and her body rotted away and she got scratches from bear traps.

My theory and first thoughts were that she became a ghost and was friendly with the boy and made him lost in the forest so that they would follow him and eventually find her corpse, in a way to get justice or something? These are only my first thoughts though

This brings me memories: I'm still remember when I watched by the first time "Draw with me", that short with the anime cat girl and the boy separated by a glass wall... That was like my first contact with the good youtube: The one that produced original stuff (I started on a time where you could update an entire film on 15 minutes part and not have any problem. Hell, I saw here the entire franchise of Nightmare on Elm Street just like that).

Pretty much when he first met her she promised to come back next year but when she went into the woods to be alone because of her own problems she died so she came back dead and went with him but since he saw her at the beguinning only he could see her then.

But why did the girl end up in the forest in the first place My theory is maybe she was dared by her friends to go to the forest and when she got deeper in the forest she stepped on a bear trap and fight a clear place where she sat hoping to be found and bleed to death or she was running away from something thats why she got deep in to the forest

Ok so last Halloween He went trick o treating with his friend But the thing is she’s dead how she died is by traps So the boy and his imaginary friend went trick o treating Again but when he came back to his mom he saw a doctor with a clipboard He looked at the clipboard and it said he had an imaginary friend and said she was right here tho He ran away with his friend and went into the forest where the little girl had lastly died He tried to get to his friend but he got trapped by a trap he woke up and was confused of where he was And he died people started searching for him then they saw him but with a dead body which is the little girl that went missing a long time ago

What I don’t understand is how even though the girl is “imaginary” we still saw her in the reflection of the iPad the boys mother was holding, so why did she show up on the camera but not in the photo? Could just be an animation mistake which is most likely but it’s still strange nonetheless.

People can't decide whether she was Alive when they met or not. Personally I think she was because she showed up in the camera when the mother took the picture. If she wasn't alive back then she wouldn't have been seen on the camera.
