Anyway, please do share your thoughts on the disappearances discussed, I read every single comment. Also, if there are any disappearances that you'd like me to do a deep-dive on then do let me know. Some of my best and most informative videos have been as a result of suggestions (IMO), so do share. If you're reading this then I hope that you've had a good week. I knew a man many years ago, a Vietnam vet, who lived on the ranch that butted up to my grandmother's here in Texas. He was struggling mentally and wouldn't accept help, what there was back then, late 70s. One day he waited until his wife left for work and walked down behind the barn in the tall Johnson grass and shot his self. He rolled around long enough and in an area big enough to leave the same flattened out area that you are talking about. It absolutely broke my heart when he died, he was always so nice and kind to me as a young boy and I totally looked up to him. God bless all the veterans who have served.

There are a suspiciously high number of cases of children disappearing when caregivers turn away for "just a second/minute"... I do honestly believe that in at least some cases, the amount of time the kid is left unsupervised is much higher but no one is going to admit that. Grandma's not going to say "I went back into the house for 10-15 minutes to use the restroom/answer the phone/whatever and when I came back out he was gone" of course she's going to say "Oh I only had my back to him for like 10 seconds and then he just disappeared" (not saying that's at all what happened here, just an example). Which is unfortunate because it makes some cases not make any sense when they otherwise would be more obvious. In this one I do honestly think that Grandma probably took longer than she realized(/admitted) with the dog or whatever she was doing and in that time he probably did run off and then maybe he was taken by someone who saw the opportunity of a little kid alone (maybe the dog even smelled/heard/sensed that person and was acting out because of it and that's what distracted Grandma?), then chucked his boots into the water later on so that people would assume he drowned. With so much effort and time focused on the creek and river, whoever took him could have gotten anywhere, hid his body anywhere, and is much more likely to just get away with whatever they did. (All 100% speculation of course.)
@keatonburnett9994 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’d have to agree with that. Some of these cases are bad parents/caretakers or worse I bet sometimes a family member or friend actually killed/ kidnapped the missing child and made a story up to cover their tracks. But there’s definitely still unexplainable things going on sometimes
@m-bronte4 жыл бұрын
yes, I agree, the child was probably unattended for longer they want to say....for all we know maybe the child was hiding in that time....could be the day he was found was the first day he walked off into the woods....how did he survive 4 days? the entire story seems off.

Ok next case: I’m so frustrated that there is not an account of EXACTLY what the dog’s behavior was in that moment that required her attention.... my gut instinct is that it backed out of its collar in fear or to get away. I feel like knowing WHY she has to get the dog sorted out is very important info! If he was lunging forward and barking, it would indicate alerting, like on an approaching person or animal, whereas if it was attempting to get away; dogs only do that when in fear of something they don’t understand or recognize the smell of as a human or animal. That dog holds the key.

I was lost in a cornfield when I was three. All I remember was my brother walked me in and said stay here I’ll be right back. I sat down. @Matt N Depends what you mean by investigated; he says he has looked at many times more than that but that's the number he considers to be 411s is my understanding
@diggitus4 жыл бұрын
@Matt N Thanks for the tip Matt, I listen to every episode and I heard him say ~less than two weeks ago~ that he had investigated many thousands of cases. I think it's a question of semantics actually. Most cases he looks at don't become 411s, as I'm sure you know. There are many profile points (evidence of foul play, suspicion of suicidal behavior etc) that if he finds them he throws the case out as a 411. So sometimes when he uses the word "investigates" he means the larger figure and sometimes he means only the full-blown 411 cases that he really dives into. Thanks for the tip on maintaining credibility on the internet. I only wish I had heard it years ago when I /checks notes/ did nothing different than what I'm doing today LOL

10:46 The immediate problem with this case is that we’re relying solely on the grandmother’s account which could potentially mean that this case isn’t all that strange, tragic most definitely but maybe not strange. Now, I’m not saying that she did something to Dylan or that she knows who did and I’m not accusing her of lying either. However, she could be downplaying the real amount of time that she had let her grandson leave her view, either out of shame or to avoid blame, perhaps even subconsciously. Also, it’s important to remember that eyewitness testimony is highly overvalued. Memories are not infallible, they are not snapshots that capture a scene with 100% accuracy. Additionally, every time we access a certain memory, we risk editing that memory, whether we mean to or not. It’s very possible that she took her eye off of her grandson for a bit longer then she stated and didn’t even realize it. Just a thought.

I've read/seen a lot about this case and I know the mother of the child doesn't speak to the grandmother (her mother) anymore because of this. She thinks that the grandmother is leaving something out because it will make her look bad. I don't know if she thinks the grandmother accidentally killed him or if she thinks she was just distracted (or whatever) for much longer than she's admitted to, but I tend to agree that there's something she's not saying.

Also wanted to ask if you had heard-of/or looked-into a VERY strange case of recent; regarding a 38 year old woman named Holly Courtier. This one struck me as EXTREMELY-ODD... *but unlike Many of the cases you look into, the bizarre and conflicting facts HAVE BEEN pointed out and questioned by a member of the actual rescue team that found her.... I may have some details wrong here; but the bones of the story are something like this: 38 year-old woman Holly Courtier leaves in the middle-of-the-night from California without informing friends or family--- and travels to Zion National Park. In the early-afternoon she hikes alone down a trail; on what is supposed to be a 2 or 3 hour hike. When a shuttle returns later to the trail-head to retrieve her; she's missing-- and the alarm goes out; with what seems to be a MASSIVE search involving multiple search-&-rescue entities and agencies... With ZERO--survival-supplies, no food, no water, no warm or special-clothing; she is missing for 2-full-weeks... but is then found; *Alive*.... and a mere 1/2-mile from the trailhead; at-that. Her daughter [eventually] tells the reporters her mother injured her head on a tree; was disoriented; and laid by a water-source for nearly the entire-time; *Not-drinking; but merely wetting her lips... and that her mother was severely dehydrated. *A family-member ALSO notes that Holly had been *fasting-for-2-days-straight, BEFORE even starting this couple-hour-day-hike which then stretched to 2-weeks in the wilderness; in a very-harsh environment; with no survival-equipment and no special-clothing... Very recently; a member of the search-&-rescue team began to publicly question the statements being put-out by the family; and raised some of the very-questions you often point-out are strangely-missing from these bizarre cases... *i don't know if this fits the build exactly for Missing-411... but the facts are just SO bizarre; and even contradictory... but also-- FINALLY, there is *official-inquiry taking place too, about these inconsistencies and the general-strangeness about this story.... there should be Plenty of info out there on this one--- but also; much of it might be repetitive or redundant; and many questions remain unanswered... *if it 'in-the-mold' enough to be considered for an episode of your's, i would *certainly like to see this one looked-at in-depth... Thanks, -Hanson www.insider.com/zion-hiker-holly-courtier-official-questions-story-discrepancies-2020-10

[*who then claim to have taken her to seek medical-treatment] *To me at-least... these are COMPLETELY inconsistent/conflicting statements made between the actual rescuing-personnel; and the family's statements to news/media... *HOW did this woman survive? *What is really going-on here? *None of it adds-up... and there seem to be some SERIOUS-questions that need-answering here... *P.S.: i think your channel and videos/'episodes' are amazing!, ...i really admire your presentation; fact-checking; thorough-research; presentation of *reasonable/*plausible explanations and hypotheses; and well-found stories that illustrate these Very-Strange bizarre phenomena... *Keep up the Great-Work! Some of the missing 411 stories sound like they are snatched by something above, held for a period of time then dropped back in the same spot or pretty near to it. Then some of the small children, sound like they are kept by some bear-like being and safely, until they are returned.

The case of young Dylan... This sounds like a classic case of BIRD STRIKE . The dog distracted the woman and when she finished trying to settle the dog, she turned round to find Dylan vanished, I wonder if the dog was barking wildly cos it had seen the bird? What you have to understand - If picked up by a GIANT RAPTOR you won’t be able to cry out cos it’s massive talons will be squeezing the breath out of you, your body will become limp, and anything loose will fall off shoes, boots, backpacks etc...This was close to the Salmon River which was probably why the bird was in the area. As for the final story I think he was abducted by a female Sasquatch whose motherly approach was to keep him warm and feed him berries and then realised there were people looking for him so she scarpered leaving him to be found on his own?

I just wanted to mention something about the first case. It doesn’t exactly fit with some of the details you mentioned. But, Hard Drug users who use drugs like: Cocaine, Heroin or meth can imbibe those substances by injecting it with a syringe. And if the individual has used a syringe for a extended period of time, They have probably damaged the veins in their arms from frequent injections. It’s very common for people who have a hard time finding a vein in their arms, To result to injecting the drugs *BETWEEN THEIR TOES.* Because it’s pretty easy to find usable vein between your toes. I mention this as a possible reason that someone may have their shoes removed. However it doesn’t fit with the authorities not finding drugs his system, Unless something happened after taking his shoes off to inject the drugs, But before he was able to successfully inject the substance. But, You would also expect for shoes to be near the body.

On the last story, i think theres a possibilty that another older child took the little lad, Kenneth. Whether this older child hid Kenneth either at his home (which seems doubtful but, Ive heard in other stories of people hiding other persons in their rooms undetected by parents or other household members) or kenneth may have been hidden in an outhouse or shed of sorts & maybe had blankets & given food & water whilst being held. Once the situation of kenneths disappearance became a major event, this older child may have become frightened of what could happen if he was discovered to have taken Kenneth so took him to the place down into the pit area telling him he would be back or to wait there & help would come & not to tell anyone where he had been or who this older child was. Its not so unbelievable, thinking of how the english toddler Jamie Bulger was taken by older children though a terrible outcome of that abduction is all too well known. Some children take other younger children away from their homes not thinking they are doing wrong maybe they just want a friend or keeping him like a new puppy. Who knows what goes through a childs mind. It just seemed like this may have happened in Kenneths case & something authorities havent t put into the equation. I once did something similar but i was only 5yrs old at the time & i do remember it clearly to this day over 60 yrs ago. I took my little friend who was about 4yrs old, on his large stuffed dog on wheels wth a handle back at the back to push it along. I put my little friend Alan on its back, took him on quite a long pathway towards the next village to ours & onto a oddly constructed railway bridge which kind of zig zagged on each side, eg going up & around to a flat bit then up & around again to the small flat summit & just left him there on his wheely dog & went home. I dont know why i did that, i wasnt in any way a vindictive child. I remembered watching everyone searching for him, his mother hysterical, crying & i remember feeling this secretness that only i knew where he was. I promtly got up prob 2 hrs later & went back for him, hed been crying but had never attempted to get off his toy or return home. I turned him around & walked back wth him to exhaulted cries of relief by his mum & all. I remember thinking it was no big deal & hadnt done it for the praise, i think i was too young to think that. I just thought id better get him back & had never done anything like it before or after that event. But it just shows how even a 4 or 5yr old can take another child away.

Did you kill any small animals when you were a child?
@itallia6664 жыл бұрын
@@mikebond6328 i understand yr question & the answer is no, quite the opposite I love animals, birds, even reptiles. Not so keen on moths but im not afraid of spiders or snakes & have placed insects & esp snails out of harms way off the pavement, did the same as a child too, worms no problem. Ive always respected nature & all living things. I dont understand why i took my friend Alan away. Its kinda hard to look back to your reasons as a 5 yr old. Maybe he hadn't wanted to go back wth me so i thought maybe, ok well i'll just leave him & thats that. I don't think i was aware of doing something wrong young children dont unless its something like pyromancy. We lived in a very rural place so maybe i thought someone would return him. I really cant remember only that i took him for a walk on his stuffed wheely dog & came back, then when i realised his mum was crying it seemed id better go for him. Young children do odd things strange & funny things, i know my daughters did them, mostly they were funny. I worked for years in mental health, as a psychologist, now retired, AND ive seen my fair share of mental disorders & odd behaviour, & not just patients but staff & doctors incl therapists too. Many of my fellow students at uni on the same courses as me, were abit 'off' they prob thought i was too. People are strange, the world of nature is strange. We just have to have acceptance & try to understand & offer love & support. Sorry to ramble abit, We do that as we grow old. I dont know how im typing this as i cant find my specs but hey ho! Thanks for reading my comment & i hope ive answered yr question Cheers.

It always strikes me as extremely odd, that parents can be so glad to get their child back safely when it's been lost in the woods. The parents may well thank God for the child's safe return, but it doesn't answer any of the questions that I would be wanting answers to, if it were my child. Everything I've heard and read about children suddenly vanishing from human sight, especially around woods and forests and even desert areas, leads me to believe that there are forces and beings of which we as humans are now unaware of, but at one time in our distant past were familiar with.

Yeah I agree that's very odd, it threw me off the second I heard it

I would l like to know what the terrain was like..... tall grass, rough rocky terrain? And how big the boots were.... small boots and the right kind of terrain or vegetation would make the boots difficult to see.

Being from nove scotia, I've wondered if you notice that case. As soon as they found the shoes it made me think of the 411. Sad year for the whole province over all. Could the large flattened grass spot have been a blanket or tarp on the ground, before the body was there. Maybe someone wanted to display what they did, putting it in a position to have a higher chance to be found. There is a theory that several, or maybe even a group of truckers that are serial killers.

Hey Chad, the idea of being put in a blanket is a very good suggestion that I hadn't considered

An overwhelming intelligence that has ongoing real time information and agility that borders on precognition... In other words this is beyond our understanding at this point in human history. Someday in the far future our enlightened descendants may finally understand what was going on with these disappearances involving high strangeness.

According to Japanese folklore shoes are symbolic, used by their version of the fae to convey that the abductee is gone, and not coming back.

I, along with many others I'm sure, often wonder what some of the narrators of these channels look like, so thank you for the reveal; it's a great personal touch. As always, this is another intriguing mystery. I admire the way you respect the privacy of your source(s) and refrain from divulging sensitive information when it's called for. Also, you're accent is lovely. May I ask, (if I haven't before), where you're from? Keep up the good work❤

with the last one you need to understand the location. You are talking about the bible belt. They won't ask questions because it was god's doing that the boy survived and that is all they need to know. Please don't come for me in replies I don't mean it in a bad way but I have seen this a lot with other cases in that region of the US. and it just explains why there is no curiosity after he was found.

Someone has him Someone went back and left those boots I think to throw the investigation off to make them think the boy was in the brook would’ve been priority to search the brook giving anybody who took him time to get away without being noticed. It’s somebody close by enough that would’ve came back six hours later. Still in the are or Maybe they sold him? Boots were deflection.

Yeah that could very well be the case Donna, I've seen a few people say that exact same thing

You are absolutely right about the lack of questions. Ignoring the supernatural/unexplained options, the possibility of a child being abducted and then the abductor dropping the kid off in the woods to be found by search and rescue is terrifying. How is this not getting more attention and media coverage? This makes me wonder if the standard procedure for these cases is to accept the child'd account without further questions, or that there is an investigation under way but it is not disclosed to the public.
