This guy is wrong, the only reason there isn't any kind of voice communications is because Stockton didn't want to be interrupted when on a dive. The only communication there is a location and depth signal transponder, that is why they didn't call for help until 12 hours after the communication signal was lost. Sorry to say but they are all dead because of this company's short cuts.

@@Thepc425correct, the titan was supposed to send pings every 20 minutes. It stopped doing so after 90 minutes. Probably a catastrophic problem that compromised the whole sub. Otherwise they would have still sent pings. Who knows what could’ve happened, oxygen problem? Leak? Those are the only two things that came to mind. Best case scenario is the subs power and comms cut off but oxygen and pressure remained, therefore they could still have a chance to be rescued. The likelihood is though, that everyone on board died for the same reason that the subs comms died

sometimes things work for a long time but if its new tech or in this case a new ship, very small, under crazy pressure, there's really only a number of trips something like that can take before it will eventually have a point of failure. It's kind of like space travel, you can't expect to continue reusing the vessels forever, they get worn out and will fail. I dont know how they would have tested whats a safe number of times to take it down and up.

This guy is a complete lunatic in my opinion, even in regards to "absent the accident that has happened" would STILL go on another trip down there. If this OceansGate company was truly risk adverse, they not only would have multiple redundant systems on board, they would have multiple options for rescue shall the unthinkable happen. This entire creation was just not thought out entirely, they let the fascination of seeing a sunken ship blind their ability to ensure maximal occupant safety, thus leading to this outcome. May they rest in peace, and may OceansGate be dissolved from future "explorations" such as this.

Unless there's a miracle, it is impossible. There's only a couple scenarios which may explain what happened. As far as I understand it the submarine was still on its way down when it lost contact. Therefore being stuck in the Titanic wreckage can’t be the reason of the failure. The submarine has the capability to do an ermergency rising by inflating some stuff. It didn’t do that, so I guess it must have imploded. They are going to find a very crumpled piece of metal. A previous mission with this submarine couldn’t even find the Titanic, so it is very unlikely that this mission landed exactly on the Titanic.

@@cobycolbertson Of course I don’t know the details, but it has been widely reported that the sub should be able to surface even when it has lost all power. It has several emergency systems. Pressurized gas (as a liquid?) in a tank, use that to force water out of the ballast tanks. Up it goes. Something like that. That’s why they have many planes flying over the area; in the hopes that the submarine is floating somewhere in the ocean.
