sir, In Open market operations(OMO) 1.if the RBI sells the govt securities to bank.. then the BANK buys the govt securities. in this case. the BANK loses money and gets govt securities RBI gains the money and loses the govt securities.. my question is... why cant the bank adjust these govt securities in the SLR?.. anyhow SLR can be liquidity(gold,cash,bonds).. cash in SLR adjusted with govt securities in SLR... so how does the money supply affect here??...
