i lost my dad fishing reel at the sd bay sunday... fish took off with it 😭 so bummed he used it alot for fishing before he passed away .. maybe its a sign from him to get something better and work for it

So sorry to hear that. I did hear another fisherman say he snagged a rod that day. But that was just a boat passing by me. I guess it is a sign to get something new. Thanks for watching!

If you can pinpoint the area, a diver can go down to take a look. I go diving for lobster often and snagged a braided line in the channel across from dana landing last week and just let it go.

Great video! Where do you launch from? looks great
@chrisbrandtthebeefshaman95906 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! That day I launched from the swim beach near the Bahia Hotel and Resort. It’s centrally located and give easy access to most of Mission Bay.

You did a service for that ray; maybe it can move more free. =) Good vid as always. Dig the video quality of the intro.

Love the videos, I am curious what is the depth in mission bay, fished it a few time and it’s not as deep as what I was thinking.
@chrisbrandtthebeefshaman95906 күн бұрын
Thanks so much! The bay varies in depth but the main channel of the bay goes down to 30+ feet. The secondary channels get to 14-17 feet and the rest outside the direct middle of the channels averages 10-12 feet getting shallower near the shore. I hope this helps and thanks for checking out the video. Cheers!

Another great video! I'm sorry but I can't get over wondering about your name here and on IG. I come from a family who was in the beef industry from the late 30's to the 80's. (Acme Meat) Anyways if you have the time and don't mind a little insight.

He has a video where he explains he was cooking for a bunch of people and someone came up and said this is so good you must be a beefshaman.

Hey thanks for watching! No worries at all. I get asked if I’m related to Brandt Beef and the answer is no, not that I’m aware of. The Beefshaman is a nickname I got in college. I’ll put a link to a video where I explain in depth the answer. kzbin.info/www/bejne/baGodYRmfd-qbtksi=jFPimJI6kB1vpfNa I hope that helps. Cheers!
