Next time you catch a small 12-14” croaker at the pier, put that on that hook you snagged and drop it under the deepest part and let’s see what happens 😂🍻

New subscriber here!!! Great video. What kind of live bait well is that? I have a skiff like that and would like to add one to mine. Thanks.

@@JJimenez1383 Welcome to the channel! I’m not 100% on what kind of live bait well, it’s a rental skiff from mission bay. It is very convenient and keeps the live bait alive all day! Thank you for Subscribing 🎣

I know it can be hard not to net the halibuts but they’ve been known to have tail rot/infection after being netted because the nets can easily cause that splitting in the tail as seen in that first halibut. It can be harmful for their longevity, if it’s legal and you’re keeping Then it’s no worry of course, but if it looks borderline or short I’d suggest not netting. Just my 2 cents Tightlines brother I love the videos

Thanks for this info, I know the yarn/rope nets are more harmful to fish. This one is a rubber net. Thanks for watching ! Tight lines 🎣

Where do you hook the live bait, when I hook mine in the rear it keeps flying off lol.
@SocalFisherman9 ай бұрын
Best place to hook live sardines it on the soft part of its nose. Or if you want it swimming away from the hook, closer to the tail
