I own the Mission Workshop Radian. The Radian and the Mars are like siblings. I love the Radian. I use the Mars pack in flap-down mode, i have the buckle attachment on the flap instead and stowed the velcro strap away. The best feature is the clamshell opening. I prefer this compared the Rhake since I mainly use pouches.

I like the reverse u zip access, weather resistance seems great, but the top access multi buckle with velcro situation seems like it's not for me.

So, I’ve been pretty vocal about Missiion Workshop being some of my favorites and I too have this bag with the Archiv accessories. I much prefer the Rhake for some of the reasons you mentioned. The lowest front pocket of the Rhake is fairly deep in which you can hold several micro pouches. I don’t honestly know what they were thinking with this thin front lower pocket as the best use case I have for it is to store individually packed hand sanitizer wipes, lens wipes and some bug repellant wipes. I was very disappointed to see this as in the Rhake it’s such a useful pocket. The issue I have with the archive attachments is it starts to feel like a molle pack however the engineering or design around archiv though patented creates a lot of bulk and wasted space and prohibits better uses for space. They tend to be mostly just pockets which don’t expand the way you need them too unless you store flat items. I have them all actually. So for me this makes a great weekend travel bag or perhaps carry in travel bag at 26L. My Rhake, Bellroy Apex, and Mw Spar are my EDC. My favorite organization for admin style pockets is the TAD Axiom 24, however that was just a little too small and tactical for my preferred aesthetic.
