That place looks like it has some fantastic food! Glad you enjoyed it! The charge for a slice of citrus would totally bug me though. Cutting off their nose to spite their face!

@Jeannified Yeah my dining companion (momma) is NEVER going back because of that!

@@NOLAGent1 Yeah, your momma is a smart lady! ;-) I think I'd be hard-pressed to go back there too, even if the food IS good! That just hits me the wrong way, charging for a slice of citrus!

Everything looked pretty good especially the brisket. I've heard you comment in past reviews that you don't eat pork. Is there a reason you don't eat it. I was just curious. If you don't care to answer I understand. Thank you, NOLA Gent, for another great review. 👍👍

Not really a fan of the flavor of pork. There is also some good research that shows that populations that don't eat pork have virtually zero MS while those that do eat pork have MS. I have a degree in Medical Anthropology so I have had to learn a lot about all kinds of diseases so I'm happy to eliminate all the risks that come with pork. www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-pork-bad

Judging a barbque joint by the brisket quality is a good measuring stick of the whole menu!

Brisket is a challenging cut of meat to transform into something amazing. Some BBQ joints have mastered the art while some have a long way to go...
