For the most part. Don't identify "Mexican coke" just from the glass bottles alone, cause those can sometimes still use the corn syrup. If you want to be sure, always look at the ingredients table on the back.

That's not even true. Mexico hasn't required sugar in their soft drinks since 2012. which doesn't matter because a 2011 study that tested a range of soda's found no sucrose (cane sugar) and only fructose and glucose (high fructose corn syrup), Mexican coke was one of the soda's tested.

As a native Oklahoman, I couldn't be more grateful to George Motz for introducing the Oklahoma onion burger to the world! "Mexican Coke" is closer to what Coca-Cola tasted like before the recipe was changed in 1985. Prior to then, Coca-Cola was made with cane sugar. In '85 the Coca-Cola company discontinued the original recipe and introduced "New Coke". There was a vehement backlash from Coke drinkers, who did not like the new taste. Eventually the company announced that they were bringing back "the original recipe", but it was now being made with HFCS (high fructose corn syrups) instead of cane sugar. Hardcore Coke enthusiasts continue to believe that what is now sold as "Classic Taste" Coca-Cola in the U.S. is not the original flavor because of the switch to HFCS. Coca-Cola bottled in Mexico continues to use cane sugar and is widely regarded as much closer to the original recipe and flavor.

George seems like SUCH an all around great guy! Thanks for shining a light on the many good bits of humanity. I have to add that this might be my favorite of all of your episodes. You started my day with chuckles that made my wrinkles proud.

mexican coke is made by sugarcane😂you guys are the best to see a review of food especially with ollie being opposite of josh 😅😅 i just enjoyed the burger just by watching these guys eat and give details about it. The whole idea about burger in america is same topic in nepal and the food here is momos (dumplings)

Momos🥴 So delicious! I would eat those over a burger any day.

@@ResinAlchemist2024imagine my happiness when I found out that the local Indian place (which I was so happy to see here) was owned a Nepalese family. I asked when they were going to add momo? So they did!

Oli needs to get on 8 out of 10 cats. He comes up with some quick witted stuff, and he would definitely fit the mould.
