I was there. That game doesn't do justice for the actual experience. Tulane was beating ND, then we saw this storm drive in from left field. They resumed play that night and ND won. Then they beat MSU once before this game. I was a junior in HS in florida. I'm a fan of both teams, but at that age I had grown up with more Notre Dame under my belt. When the game was over, I walked down to the Notre Dame dugout and saw all of the players crying; hats over their faces. Then in the Fall of 2001, I became a freshman at Mississippi State :)
