@AClarionCallMinistry9 жыл бұрын
"Queens shouldn't swing" means "black women shouldn't fight" "but I'm about to take my earrings off, get me some Vaseline"... back in the days before black girls fought they would take off their earrings so they wouldn't get snatched out in the fight, and they would put Vaseline on their faces to keep them from getting scratched up by the opponent. In the hood, when girls fought they would dig their nails into each other faces to try to leave as much scratches and scars as possible. The Vaseline was supposed to help prevent that.

Just saw her this summer here in Chicago 2017 with four other bands at her block party she turned it out she is one genius and can do anything she wants to. I'm waiting for it to come out with the song something about her being a bitch like in a good way not a bitchy bitch but just the Queen the bitch the ruler. Thank you Miss Scott for showing us such a good time here in Chicago we all had a blast and it was a memory of a lifetime. My friend from New York City came just to see you with me and we had a blast met like 10 women our age and danced all night.
