Hi Gang Friends! 🌙🫲🏻🫱🏻🌙Caviar beads are my arch nemesis! lol I just worked FOREVER on a nail with intricate caviar bead placement, and then my client went to put her hand in the lamp and bumped her finger!!! Did I cry? Maybe…. Did learn to use my hand held flash lamp? Absolutely! But it worked out in the end.

Miss Jo I just love your work thank you for posting and hello to bth you and Dexter. When I’m dealing with bastardballs (caviar beads) I put a few at a time in a mixture of base coat and gem gel then shiny top before curing. You can pick them up easier with your brush and more at a time too.

What will happen if you go over the gems they go dull

If you cover gems with gel, it will cover the facets of the gems, so it won't twinkle. They'll all be smoothed over by the gel. It's good to seal around the base of them though, and you can come up a tiny bit on the sides, but just not over the facets. Hope that makes sense!

I get streaks when I use the VoTino one, but not with the Madam Glam one. Give what Kimberlee says a go, and maybe also try to float the top coat, but not too thick. Kind of a fine line between floating and not being too thick 😅.

@maxinepercival9105 forgot to add, I started curing all my matte topcoats for 90 seconds instead of the 60 that's usually specified. That helped me too and it seems to take away any rubbery feeling that some mattes tend to get

That's a good idea. Also, I give my matte nails a good 'looking over', wiggling it around so I see it from different lights, to make sure there's no brush strokes in it before curing. Let us know how you get on!

Not in a romantic way but based on personality…every video I hear you say so many things that I’ve either said myself or heard from someone else in the last day or so; from your thought processes to your phrasing and all the way down in the deep recesses of anxiety and how we express ourselves and cope with it…we truly are eerily similar in so many ways. So when I hear you’re in a flare up, I seriously think about you several times a day (not in a creepy way lol just sayin’😉) and I send calming and restorative vibes your way as often as I remember to. (The dread you spoke of is something I’m unfortunately very familiar with…that shit comes in waves which is only good in that it’s not constant…they do come on every day still, some days only once but others up to 10 incidents in that single day that last anywhere from 30sec to several hours. I’d say that’s probably the most intense and the worst aspect of my anxiety, in my experience and opinion. Anyway. Love this set. Will probably recreate it myself like I just recreated the v-day heart cut-out+blingy set from your last video! The thumb nail was a bit tedious but overall it was actually a very simple design, ideal for all the beginner nail babies out there! Only one complaint- the damn cursive “Love” heart swirl word-picture shit? It was a total asshole and let’s just say I matched you wipe for wipe after f’ing it up constantly lol but ended up nailing it in the end and it’s definitely still a stunning set!♥️♥️ Take care of yourself jo . Ah how crazy is it to get that feeling! Comforts me to know that 🥰. Oh man, those waves that last 30s-hours, I feel that, and yes it is the absolute worst. Days like that, or even seconds like that, absolutely stop me in my tracks. All plans for the day are out the window, and I'm in bed, doing colour by numbers or something else non-scary. Totally crippling, and I hate that others know the feeling. I keep the gang friends in my prayers every night. I'm so grateful to have such a supportive, and understanding group of like minded people. I bet when you finally nailed the 'love', you were super happy! Don't worry! I didn't think it was meant like 'you effing booze hound' 😂😂. That is a very valid point about the cream aspect...so I Googled it. 2 year shelf life, whether opened or not. I tend to err on the side of caution, and polish it off within a week 😂.
