Stephanie basically described the plot of never let me go by kuzao Ishiguro at the end. It’s not scary and I read it for English class and it’s about clone donors who are clones of people but they grow up with the sole purpose of donating their organs to real people and the main point is do they have souls and are they like real people too? I described it badly but I got chills when Stephanie basically said the plot exactly as it is

The tape was so it didn't lock you in, but they could tell if you left since many of those programs had a mandatory curfew on the state level. My school was mandated by the state that overnight trips enforced a curfew. However, they didn't lock you in because if there was an emergency you still had permission to leave and it wasn't considered a violation of curfew. I went to band camp for 4 years and my older brother went the 4 years before me. Once while he was there a girl started having a seizure. She had heart issues. She got a pacemaker my freshman year. The girl who shared a bunk woke the cabin and an older girl ran to the nurses cabin. Another year a girl got a spider bite and had a severe allergic reaction in her sleep. The cabins didn't get in trouble for breaking curfew in an emergency. Our standard "rule" was you can only leave the cabin past curfew if there was blood, broken bones, or blood. Weirdly enough I did break my leg one year and when I got home from band camp I mentioned how much it hurt and my mom took me to the ER. We were put under the same restrictions for band trips, but I will say, hotel rooms had a tendency for a string of tape to be popped. One year we shared a floor with another school that was there for the same event. Their state must not have had a mandatory curfew, or maybe they did and this group of teens didn't want to get caught breaking it so they popped all of our tape.
