You and Nick are doing this hike really well. Hard as hard may be you are still smiling. Great job. The mosquitos are awful. Its good not to travel alone. Glad you both came with each other. You may have had days when one would help motivate the other. Thanks for another great video, I'm lovin it.

Beautiful as always. The Sierra is my favorite place in the world. I'm glad you got to see the old cowboy with his stick game at VVR. I've had that same debate about paying for a shower. Looked like you all had a fun time glissading down Silver Pass after VVR also.
@mari.johnson4 жыл бұрын
So that cowboy guy is always there?! Haha such a silly debate when you put it into context of every-day-at-home life, but out on the trail it's so real!
@michaelb17614 жыл бұрын
@@mari.johnson I've hiked many times in the Sierra and stopped in at VVR 5 times, I think. He was there along with a few other younger guys from the pack station one of those nights. They had some good jokes and staid up until at least midnight congregated around the fire with some beer and several hikers who I guess weren't hiking out early the next morning. Lol

Took a BSA troop across Bear Creek. We had a rope line across due to the high waters, and I took multiple trips back and forth to escort the younger troops. Water was freezing. You didn't show Rose Marie Meadows which a nice place, but the trail coming down to bear creek though.

is that snow on the ground? and you guys are wearing shorts? what's going on lol
@mari.johnson4 жыл бұрын
haha I can understand your confusion. It was summer, but the snow was left over from winter. The sun was hot and walking up all of those passes, as well as the sun's bounce back from the snow made it feel even hotter. Hence, shorts. :)
