That was incredibly touching to watch. Your feelings came through your camera to us. I've yo-yo'd that final section from Rainy Pass twice.....beautiful section. It's my favorite section in Washington. Yes I live here. 😃 Thanks for sharing your hike and bringing us along. You're fortunate on the snow level. We typically stay off the trail after mid-September.

Hey Mari :) I have been following along since your solo traveling days, and I was even in Washington when you were finishing the trail hearing about the snow. Obviously I had seen from your instagram that you made it, but it is so incredibly amazing to finally get to see your vlogs from it. Your editing style and overall filming has only gotten better over the years, and I always look forward to your videos. I am currently stuck in New York so I have been watching over the past several weeks, and it has been such a lovely escape to be able to see the outdoors. It has been tough not going outside, since I was born in Seattle, but your videos have really given me a respite that I am so thankful for. Congratulations on completing both the PCT AND these vlogs because I imagine it feels like a long time coming on these :)

Congratulations! You two accomplished something truly fantastic. I’ve lived in WA my entire life and it’s SO beautiful here. When I started watching this series at episode one, I was really looking forward to seeing you guys trek through this beautiful state. California was warm and sunny; your spirits were high. Oregon was spectacular; you were eager and motivated to push on. Then you crossed over the Columbia.....right into a cluster-f*ck of dumpster fires. Slimy drizzle, dense fog, ice water rain, freezing temperatures and a record breaking snow fall. That must have been SUCH a bummer! With the exception of Nicks birthday and the very last day itself, the weather was a total shit-show. I’m so sorry you guys had to endure such a draining experience right at the end and also in truly one of the most beautiful states in the lower 48. Regardless, you guys trekked on and killed it! Congratulations again!!

Oh that looks so gloriously beautiful and bitingly wicked cold on the feet and fingers. And nose. It’s amazing how when you are hiking in that weather that you can be sweating but those toes and fingers can just be popsicles. Lol. But it makes the stove worth the weight when you can have a hot meal and hot beverage. What a way to end the trail with a bang! Thanks for going back and sharing your journey. Thank you for sharing your PCT journey. The way you candidly mentioned the ups and downs of the day-by-day, I found that very relatable. Although I was watching these videos now in one go after the whole series was already up (and knew you were successful), I found myself rooting for you and Nick to be able to finish the hike. The early arrival of winter at the end of the path is where I could feel the exhaustion and slight dread of one last unsure step before you'd be done. Congratulations and much respect for completing the PCT. Through your videos I've got an idea of what to expect on a long hike like that, and see myself inspired to find a trail I'd like to start on myself. One of the best series of vlogs I've watched on YT for sure.
