Alas, 2022 was not the year for mushrooms for WA! There might've been pockets of really good spots, but generally speaking, seems that it was a very short funghi season. We had it so so good last two years! Fingers crossed for a fruitful next season 😍

Very young Shaggy Manes are delicious, just be sure to cook immediately after picking and they don’t mix with red wine or alcohol according to many sources, so beware of that. I love the flavor, probably my second favourite flavored mushroom after hedgehogs. I love your videos btw. I binged the food ones because I cooked in Seattle for a short time but the mushroom videos are definitely my favourite, as I’m an avid forager and beginner grower as well. Excellent job!

Watch out for Poison Ivy in the woods some 🍄 you should not pick up or touch with your bare hands no matter how cute it looks the simplest mushroom could be the deadliest. Did you find any chaga or hen 🍄 that is going to make some nice medicinal soup 😀✌❤

You should look at the Shrooly on kick-starter. You can buy the blocks or make your own and its basically this little machine then you put the block in and it films, controls the temperature, humidity and light

I wish more people would be a considered as her. I live in germany and with all the panic from media and politic people started this fall to storm the Forest's and grab what they can(as i heard from a friend who works in the hospital, also the poisonous ones ...). That first one you picked, but didn’t keep because you didn’t know what it was, looked like brick cap(hyphaloma lateritium), but you said it looked a bit yellowish which could be poisonous sulphur tuft. But always wise not to keep if you don’t know what is👍
