I have had the problem with mail being delayed for 14 day to my place in Warsaw, Mo. I finally went to post office to find out why and their excuse was the road i live on is to bad to drive on. We recently a few weeks ago had some snow and ice on roads but since then roads have been clear enough for normal traffic to travel. Yes i agree that the post office needs to pony up and do their job.

Same problem in Tipton mo. I took a video of myself driving up to the mailbox showing proof the box was 100% accessible by a minivan to be told " well it was to dangerous for the carrier".(*in September*) Lets go usps!!! the postmaster Gen said investigation finds no violation of policy inquiry closed.

Every person thinks he or she is the only one who matters when it comes to delivery. LLVs, mail trucks, are the most dangerous and oldest delivery vehicles being used by any service. Just because you can travel the road in one place doesn't mean it's accessible tnt whole way through. Carriers get disciplined if something happens regardless of fault. No worth the risk to carriers to put themselves in harm's way. You can apply if you want.

I've had packages stuck in kc. when I filed a complaint,😂. I was sent the response "We investigated and find no policy violations, your parcel is in the system". I've had several that once reaching kc were never seen again. Tracking numbers aren't for locating the package they're to tell where it "went missing". Oh and they won't look, they'll only reply with the last logged location. Let's go usps!!! I have a package that's been in kc since 7/19/23.

I tried working for them, Sam and Jennifer in Springfield are terrible human beings. I complained on their ethics hotline about the rules they were breaking and was told it was a union issue. Union has no backbone, lazy old people enjoying their seniority.

I paid for 2 day express The item did not get delivered until 3 weeks later I asked for a refund for the failure to deliver during that 2 day express period, USPS said "no, sorry. we never guarantee packages will arrive in 2 days that's just the target" I mailed it from Cbus, Ohio to KC, Kansas. It arrived on the 2nd day, but then suddenly got mailed to MO. Then got mailed from MO to Texas. Then back to Kc, Kansas.

Not just there in Kansas City, but Springfield MO, and Providence, RI as well. 11 days a package sat in Springfield, MO with the with a status update indicating that the delay was storm related. That BS! Did the area get 10 or 12 feet of snow and the media forget to mention that?! I think not! Providence RI does not understand that MA means Massachusetts, NOT California, Arizona, New Hampshire, Maine, Florida or even Puerto Rico or back and forth between two post offices for days. I've had packages misdirected to those places when Massachusetts is the state next to them. Along with everything else broken in this country, USPS is just another agency on the list. NO more postage rate increases until the problems are fixed!!!

My town needs to do something about our post office and their above the law attitude. From Auburn Ny. My carrier refused to deliver a check, certified for 30 grand, and because I complained, I had to get a lot box in another town.

If you never work for a post office, you will never understand why that mail is late and why Missouri is the slowest one. I guarantee it. My thing is, most ppl know when their bills are due. If they haven't received their bill, them call them to find out what the amount is. This makes no sense to me, as a former postal employee.

The issue is the quality of the workforce with the mail service. Very few of them would be hired by UPS or FedEx.

To be fair, no one wants to work mildly inconvenient jobs anymore. People see the starting pay at the sorting facilities and get a job. Then they find out they’ll be working overnights and most of the holidays for a few years. Then most of them quit. Carriers get paid worse than those at the sorting facilities but have to brave the elements, the worst of the public at large, pressure to get the mail delivered even after sunset, etc etc. Postal life eventually gets good if you can hang in there long enough to get an easier bid job. Unfortunately, many won’t stick around to find out.

Dejoy is talking out of his ass! Amazon killed the USPS. They spend billions on high speed package sorters but still operate little white vehicles built in the 80’s to get the packages out. Mail, which WAS the USPS mission, now takes a back seat to packages. It’s that simple! A typical route that normally took 7 hour to deliver now takes 9.6 hours because of Amazon. Nobody wants to works 60 hours a week delivering toilet paper, kitty litter, and TV’s. And they do force you to work 60 hrs a week! So people quit, some call in sick, or just burn out! Solution is simple……stop making Bezos a rich man and get back to delivering mail. When an office is properly staffed with people, capable vehicles, and routes rated for 8 hours to deliver mail and packages not 10 hours then they should take on delivering packages. Every office in the USPS is understaffed yet DeJoy and his dumbasses can’t understand this! In short the USPS took a job they were not capable of completing! Get the people, equipment, and proper 8 hours routes and you will have no problem getting folks to work for you!

No way , fix the agency. The post office was deliberately sabotaged , but it's in the constitution and is the ONLY way to be secure from the third party doctrine. If you give a letter to DHL the government can read it without a warrant. The post office is protected by the constitution from this.
