Your playing is so incredibly beautiful to listen to. I’m trying to teach myself to play, but its not going well. Any advice for learning guitar? @Bob Minner

Subtle indeed, Frank Sabatino, and a unique voice. I always watch these videos with my guitar on my lap, trying to imitate the playing. You can have the best afternoon doing just that. Thanks and keep posting!

That’s so great. Can maybe one of you more knowledgeable people out there recommend an acoustic album with songs like this?

I tried to find any cds by Bob but couldn't. Another fine flatpicker is David Grier. His cd I've Got The House to Myself is one of my favorites.

Bob's album "Solo" would be a great start. I also like Robert Bowlin's "Six String Soliloquy". Fingerpicker Eric Skye also has a quite a few videos of him flatpicking fiddle tunes in a solo context.

@@mcmule2007 I listened to “solo”. Really great playing. Good recommendation thanks.

Nicely and fluidly played. What was the loudest acoustic guitar you have ever played? I'm asking sheer volume, not tone.
@missouriboy66 Жыл бұрын
Easily my 1936 D-18. Drives nails in walls…

Haha, thank you. I kind of expected you to say that or some other Martin dread, though I was ready for a surprise answer as well.
