I think this would also be a great baby quilt You could use some stars and moons fabric for the backing of the baby quilt . If giving this for a shower gift or a baby gift for a newborn I would also give the Good Night Moon book along with the quilt.

Yes! That’s what I was thinking as I prefer it to just the zigzag. Granted, since I love hand appliqué, it would be nice to do that for these circles, but honestly I would still machine stitch them down.

Scrappy is what is very popular right now, but I’m a traditionalist, and I especially love when they have floral patterns incorporated, you know a Victorian flair! Hope you’ll make some of those too! I’m an old girl of 74. I visited your stores about 4 months ago. I was also was wanting to know how I might be able to get your schedule of appearances for 2023? I watched the action and you mentioned you’d be going to Paducah in July, if I heard right. But I don’t know where that is. I watch your show all the time. You give me good ideas for quilting. I think using a panel with the smaller images would look really good in the circles. Particularly if you made a child or baby size quilt with one of the panels that are geared towards babies or children.

I think this would make a great autograph quilt - just use white or off white as the "moon" and use a colored background against the moon that isn't the star leg fabric.
