I nearly choked on my mac n cheese when the girl talked about the Kingston family. My backyard has a HUGE field with hills and everything behind it. That land is owned by the Kingston family. We rarely see anyone around there, but one time I was jumping on my trampoline with some of the neighborhood kids in my backyard and this couple came by and had like a blueprint sorta paper in their hands and came up *past our first fence*. I didnt even see them jump the fence, I only saw them come up to the second fence nearly 5 feet away from us. The fences are short and just wire. But they didnt even acknowledge us. They were measuring out fence and walking around it. I just asked what they were doing and they just asked ME what I was doing. Real sketch. Anyway, the couple was 100 percent from the Kingston family and I think one of the picture the girl showed in the tiktok was of them 😐😬

1:25 does anyone else see the similarities to the Elisa Lam case? like the elevator looks almost the exact same, the murder claimed different mental illnesses (the same that Elisa had) and the dumping of the bodies on the rooftop? Why are cults still around? Especially if they have people there against their will, I’m pretty sure that counts as some form of kidnaping or something similar.
@roseevelyn66293 жыл бұрын
It is also brainwashing They likely convince people to join who already have issues and search for "the light"
@ash68313 жыл бұрын
It probably has something to do with the fact that many people want to feel like a part of something. Cults probably use grooming techniques and threats to gain members. Of course, some people are just sadistic or insane. Most of the people in cults are likely very misguided and, since cults tend to be considered "religious", people who join believe that they are doing what their "deity" commands.
@ashelton3 жыл бұрын
The same way people are still getting pulled into MLMs. I kind of wonder if social media has aided in cult recruitment; seeing pics of whatever life you find desirable combined with the "influencer" phenom. The book "Propaganda" by Edward Bernays should be mandatory reading for all children in school. It is literally THE BOOK that explains modern day marketing techniques. Bernays was Freuds nephew, and had a light bulb moment when he thought of tying emotions to items. Example: when Bernays approached companies with this idea, the companies were very skeptical, for many reasons, but one of them being the fact companies just could not fathom people buying more than they needed. Bernays is often called the father of marketing due to the fundamental shift in society and the way it affected the way goods/services are bought and sold. It may be about how to sell things to people, but it also lays out how things are made to seem desirable, who should be setting the trends, and can be applied to more than marketing (basically any kind of trend).

@trabubble8712 жыл бұрын
She was so pretty- she didn't deserve that. If she had recently had a falling-out with them, then problem solved, friendship gone? There was no reason to KILL HER over not wanting a relationship with her.
@jamimosley90802 жыл бұрын
the way they killed her was that they went out to their favorite spot to smoke weed and then the friends looked at her and said that they forgot the lighter and asked her to go get it from the car then when she stood up they looked at each other and out loud said 3 2 1 and then stabbed her and buried her body the only reason they were caught is because one of the friends had a kind of psychotic break and then started running around her house screaming until she finally confessed

I would LOVE to see an in depth video about the various contracts Scientology has its members sign. I remember watching an episode of Leah Remini's show where Scientology reps got a guy to take out loans, and had his credit extended, despite the fact he definitely did not qualify for. The fact there hasn't been major court cases from past members or banking institutions is a huge red flag for my curiosity, as it implies they know some kind of legal loopholes

There was a lady that got stuck in an airplane window, preventing the plane from crashing due to decompression. There were a couple people, I believe, who were sort of holding her body from flying completely out. They were also at risk of being sucked out. She was totally dead by the time they landed. Better her than the whole plane though, I guess. Mr Ballen has a video about it...
@luvbeinghiswife1148 Жыл бұрын
I remember that. There was another similar incident involving I believe it was one of the pilots. His co pilot got the plane landed safely while others held onto him. Aside from some abrasions, bruising and mild hypothermia he was ok. Lucky fellow.

1:07 Rodney Alcala died on the 24th of July this year. He had dementia, but could still recall details of some of his murders vividly, and in interviews visibly enjoyed reminiscing when providing information. I don't think he ever gave up anything useful though. A woman I know who has dementia still makes her bed every morning, perfectly. But she can't medicate, feed or clean herself. I think that shows his memories of his murders, rapes and assaults were so frequently, enjoyably well recalled that they were rooted in who he still was in his degenerating mind that they were on the same level of retainment that her bed making is. That's really...I don't even know what that is.
