The woman did not want anything to do with Will Smith. She recognised the power that his money and celebrity brought her, and she probably liked him a little, but she certainly did not love him and probably came to despise him at the end. She is hung up on Tupac, who, if he were still alive, would probably have gone off and had relationships with all sorts of women except Jada.

It's possible that her heart might not have been fully invested; after all she originated from some low-income area in Baltimore. She had no qualms about how birthing a child out of wedlock would make her look. What she saw was, being married to Will, advancing her career and status in Hollywood, which it DID . . . . a hundred fold. Had she not made a connection with Will, her relevance would have ENDED with the conclusion of "A Diff'rent World!!!"

If he wanted her, he wouldn’t have married another one, and after that marriage he still didn’t choose her, bcuz he then was engaged to Kidada and was still with her when he died. So she’s listing over a corpse who chose two women leading up to his death. Either way, if she didn’t marry Will, she still wasn’t going to be with him bcuz he only saw her as a really deep close friend and dated other women in the industry and still didn’t choose her. Codependency is a mf. They are two toxic people who bond over emotional wounds and lose. They developed an unhealthy attachment. Did Jada settle...yes. Did Will hang on to an unavailable woman hoping he could finally beat a dead man out for her affections...yes. Do they BOTH need deep emotional healing. Absolutely. Stop thinking that Will is a victim, he's not his Codependency makes him seek out unavailable individuals in order to validate his worth. And remember the rumors of DL actions...so this marriage allowed him to live his life undercover. And it allowed Jada a measure of "normalcy" but it allow neither to live in their authentic truth.

Will needs to move on from this toxic relationship and find someone he can mesh with. It's ok to move on when you have kids. Demi Moore did it, and she remains connected to Bruce (maybe even more connected). It's time for Will to move on and be happy. Jada just stated in an interview that they were “putting in the hard, deep work to heal” their “marriage”; and they’re planning to write a book together. You never know what lies Jada will spew from day to day. There has been no divorce filing!

40 years old...2011... wasn't this the time when Hawthorne was yanked off the air due to her "rehearsing" with Marc Anthony and he allegedly walked in on them... Hawthorne was produced (seasons 2 and 3) by Overbrook which is Will's production company. Jada is listed as a partner but it may be in name only. Then 2016 was the year she was with August...he "slapped" Chris at the 2022 Oscars to defend her honor and she also called for a boycott against the 2016 Academy Awards because he didn't get nominated... that year again... I don't think a divorce is imminent. For all you know this announcement was cooked up to help her sell her book. Celebrities do this all the time. This is how you do it Kardashian style.
