Thanks for the walk down memory lane and showing us your growth process. Very helpful. I think newbies come into the planner world thinking the first one they pick up will be THE ONE. This is a learning process... both in what planner works for the individual as well as learning about who we are. I will be using my Agenda 52 A5 as my workhorse. Your planner from last year is being used to map out my witchy cookbook. Creative Planning!

Thank you so much for sharing. Loved seeing how you planning style changed. I look forward to seeing your videos this year as I learn so much from you. I love the happy planner system and have been using it for a couple of years. But I do love some of your sections so I'll definitely be getting them this year so I can finally have planner peace

Thanks Alexis! I really enjoyed this walk down memory lane. I have learned a lot with you over the years & enjoyed reflecting on the changes. I'm planning on using a hobonichi this year with a few other pieces..still working it out 😊Good luck! And congrats on another year with your Master Planner.

I hadn't realized I've been following you for years. I loved your planner videos! I'm using the Hobonichi Cousin because I can use weeklies for work and dailies for personal use, and I can plan so far ahead so easily. I have created my own calendar for my ring binders, but they're mostly for fun planning, nothing productive. I don't use stickers or washi in my Hobonichi because it's my EDC and I don't want it to get heavy.

Really liked the video. I have been using various planners for the past 20 years and always go back to my Franklin Covey. I use preprinted monthly and 2 page daily for my main calendar section but make my own pages for business and household management. I will be checking out your projects section because I liked tbe layout of it in the video.

I’ve never seen one of your videos before, and sorry, the walk down memory lane I whizzed thru! I’m a planner person, but evidently not as dedicated as you. The new planner looks great tho-I like the tabs for easy access!

I’ve given up my planner for the moment. There so much to track (my schedule, my husband’s schedule, preschool, family things, relatives travelling, babysitters and anything of my own) that my beloved Filofax stopped functioning. Instead I use a large pad with a weekly planner. I use it kind of as a huge planner but keep it on the kitchen table at all times. So far it’s been working great, as long as I remember to take a photo every now and then if I need a calendar when I’m out (booking a appointment without even a hint of a calendar is difficult)... :) But I miss my beautiful brown expensive planner.

UGG, I've been struggling to find the "perfect planner" year after year. I usually design my own and use a regular old three ring binder. I went to a mini binder a couple of years ago. This year I've made the switch to a half page disk system (Arc/Martha Stewart type). I think I'm going to like it. I'm in the process of piecing together the pages that I need. I recently went to an online calendar for my business and this has forced me to change my ways to find a system that will work in conjunction with my online client appointment schedule. I've also tried a totally digital calendar system that just didn't seem to work. I like seeing those pretty pages. Who would think that planning could be so confusing?

I bullet journal in an A6 dot grid (this year it's a Dingbats); it fits in the pocket of my small purse and in my jeans. All of my appointments, my next action lists, and some reference material I might need while I'm on the go fit there, and I can make notes anywhere. Bigger-picture stuff like goal-setting and habit-tracking goes in an A4 Dingbats, which lives on my desk.

This is why I pick the A5 6 ring binder. I can modify it to my life.

The 2019 planner looks great! I already ordered one. Do you or will you have a "how to" video for printing/making the planner tabs on sticker paper?

I'm a total Happy Planner addict - I love the flexibility and ability to customise on the go. Love your ideas for project planning and the year-at-a-glance layout: I'll definitely be checking those out :-)

I use the Happy Planner system as well, and for the last year or so I have loved using the printables Alexis shares in my HP. I only want to carry one planner myself, and have found the HP easiest to fit everything I need along with easily changing what is included. Loved the walk down memory lane!

Love this video, I will be using The master Plan, I bought few months ago, but honestly just started using it this month, so I will use this as 2019 continues, unless I decide to change my mind and buy the black and white striped version.. Anny suggestions you may have as to which one out the two would be bettr? I like the bound system it keeps everything in one place and i can carry it anywhere and everywhere.

I would love to get this system! If only it came pre-printed/punched for A5 systems. I've discovered that downloading printing and punching the inserts just doesn't work no matter how careful I am.

Enjoyed the video. I currently use DIYFish inserts that I love but wish they came in a size I could use with the Classic HP. My planner for 2019 is the Happy Planner. Not sure how it will work since each section has it's own calendar on 2 pages. So I transformed 3 HP's into 1. This has caused my main planner to be too heavy to carry so I have a mini HP to carry. Don't know if this work. Might be to complicated.!!!

The end was unsettling! 😂 Great video as always. I’m a small planner girl - so I’ll be in A6 rings next year. Your inserts don’t come in that size so I can’t try them out, which is a shame because your functional planning style really resonates with me. All good though. I’ll just keep listening to you drop gems! 😊

Tracy Martin you’ll have to tell me how you manage in such a small planner? I am always amazed at what can be done with that size but even Personal is too small for me!
