Just remember Bob Marley was a revolutionary Rastafari. He was not only about one love. Through his music he broke down racial barriers, white supremacy, political injustices, black redemption and the unification of Africans. Let’s not forget he was a Rebel . One love ❤️

Yes Bob was clearly a great thinker, especially when it comes to talking about the unification of continental Africans with Africans across the diaspora. I like these two songs, “ Buffalo Soldier and “ No Woman, No Cry”. Bob Marley’s music was so lyrically conscious, I love listening to the words more than I do dancing to his songs. RIP Nesta!

Currently I’m living in California but will admit that Africa is true love. Been to Ghana a year ago for three weeks and totally fell in love with everything ….. the people and country. I was so happy to finally visit the home of my cultural background …. an everlasting experience. My dream and desire is to visit and explore Africa in all its glory. I was very touched with hardship there so I did my act of kindness when returned by donating big quantities of foods, books, clothes, toys, shoes etc to many areas in Ghana. Hopefully, I’m praying that will only be a start. Kenya ,Tanzania, and Nigeria next. Glad to have you and yours in Jamaica. One love 🇯🇲

It will bring tears to your eyes to know someone who came from such humble beginnings touched the world. You have to make that trip. It's far but worth it.. No vloggers been there. Look if there are tours from Ochie that goes there, You guys should also visit a sugar plantation house to see where the slaves were forced to do hard labor and go to a great house where the slave masters lived. They are called great houses. There is Brimmer Hall Plantationin. Brimmer hall was built 1817 There is also Seville Great house. Look on Google. for Jamaican plantations houses. No African vloggers every been to one. You guy have to stay one year in Jamaca to see the whole island. @@blissedout5859Zimbabwe song was our guerrilla liberation fighters' war song in Zimbabwe's war of independence which culminated into the capitulation of the white colonisers in 1980. Guess what who was guest of honour at our independence handover ceremony in Rufaro Stadium...Bob Marley & The Wailers. He sang the song Zimbabwe as the UK flag was coming down and Zimbabwe flag was going up. There are many videos on KZbin of performance. The Zimbabwe song is our unofficial second national anthem. The cultural exchange between the Africans and Jamaicans have been excellent so far. To answer some of your questions: Did Bob Marley know he would be this big? Nope. None of us thought he would be. He famously said that he’d do his music for free, but since they want to pay him, he’ll take the money. People who lived near to him on Hope Road (where you went) used to complain about this young man that was making up a lot of noise with his music back in the day😂. Maybe that’s where the part of the song ‘I want to disturb my neighbour’ came from. This concept of Jamaicans having so many celebrities happened in my lifetime. We do not have a culture of being overly excited about meeting celebrities, that’s part of the reason why so many mega celebrities vacation here. Good job on this. Another thing, hope you guys have finally gotten the point that many Jamaicans are mixed, but it doesn’t make them any less Jamaican. Not everyone is of African heritage.

Yes Trudy, Bob Marley is a biracial man, his father is a full white Irish man! Research has shown that 25% of Jamaican are mixed with Irish, so yes Out of Many One People! Jamiaca is truly a beautiful Island! All different shades of brown and features in Jamaica 🇯🇲 ❤
