How is Face lift a survival game? It should have been a scoring game The Nintendo power magazine for this game has the minigames in the correct categories with Face lift in scoring. It also has Shy guys says,Mushroom mixup and bumper balls in survival

The Mario Kart 64 manual has a problem with the Koopa Troopa Beach description where it says if you run over a crab, "you'll"- and then it runs out of room. I was so confused.

I wonder if Pipe Maze being in the success category implies that it was originally a 1-Player game, since you noted that the 1-Player games were mostly in the Bonus and Success Categories. It would probably also make more sense as a 1-Player game, since only one player really has any control over the outcome.

There's one in Mario Party 5 that annoys me: both the game and the manual have the Magikoopa Orb. Except it isn't a Magikoopa; it's a Toady! You know, those guys in red that serve Kamek. (Kamek is of course a Magikoopa but he has his own Kamek Orb.)

Question: somewhere (I don't remember where), I remember seeing a reference to the fact that MP1 has 53 mini-games, despite it (by the instruction manual's scope) only having 50. I have discovered the two secret maze mini-games, but I can't seem to find any third mini-game not listed in the manual. Do you have any idea what this may have been in reference to? Any info you have would be appreciated. :)

2 Things! 1- Smash 64 (and Melee) tournament players don't use other ports 'just to mix it up', they use them for neutral spawn positions! Casual players though, 100%, give me a port colour that isn't Red or Blue for the love of god Smash 4 and Ultimate have ruined me 2- I find it really interesting that the renders at 6:42 (and others from that minigame I guess) explicitly have umbrellas with the metal supports and not parasols (which block sun) like is normally the case with Mario series floaty-thingies to be. The princesses even float down like the do in other games with parasols and Paper Mario was out by then too :o

How is Face Lift a survival game tf lmao Also Crazy Cutters in Mario Party 1 you get 10 coins for 80+ points, regardless of if you had the most or not (in Mario Party 2 it is ranked in order of highest to lowest points as it is a Battle mini-game).

"green means you can win more than 10 coins in the minigame" I'm pretty sure you're wrong there. You can earn more than 10 coins in teetering towers, which is shown, (up to 16 or 17 I think) and that is white. Also all 3v1 games would be green then because you could earn 15 coins in them.
