I highly respect that you said the price of your coaching calls. Most people would withhold that info to make it sound more appealing to people who are never gonna pay that anyway.

I think not leaving a not so good situation is normal in the adulting process. It happens to so many people, myself included, and I’m still learning that when its time to leave its okay to do so. I’m getting better at it, too. And its awesome that you have insight and self reflection on your experience working with a team.

Thank you for being so real. You genuinely LOVE helping people and want what's best for them. I'm glad you are willing to put yourself out there and learn from your mistakes. It's honestly so awesome seeing that from a popular KZbinr because most of the time people just show their highlights and this is truly inspiring! Thank you for bringing us along on your journey!

Thank you for sharing your experiences, Monica! Are you growing your hair out to your natural color? Your roots look like they’re really coming out. And I just have to say, IT LOOKS SO GOOD!!!! Your natural brown looks so NATURAL. Like it’s exactly how you’re supposed to look. Dark vixen! I hope you’ll give it a try and see how you like it. Great video by the way. I think teams are such thieving when it’s an established agent. Everyone’s sticking their hand in your money pie, and very few teams and brokerages actually DO anything for you. Glad you went out on your own! :)

Congratulations Monica, I’ve been an agent since 2002, many of the agents that I knew that got their license in 2002 are no longer practicing. Remember Real Estate is a people business, & you are definitely a people person. Making mistakes and owning up to them is big. Learn as much as you can, & Keep on going. :-)

I've never commented on a video of yours, but this one I felt I had too because I've never related to a person more. I'm an agent who mainly was a marketing admin for a real estate team. I dealt with a TERRIBLE split for way longer than I should've and was very unhappy. I also was constantly made to feel like I was the person in charge of making other agents a "social media star". Now that I'm on my own and make content for myself it all makes sense. You are so right that you can never make a youtube channel for someone else, it really does defeat the purpose of authenticity and why people follow channels in the first place. Props to you for learning all of this so quickly! You're killing it as always!! 🙌💁♀

That last sotry reminded me of one thing. My grandma has a duplex and she was showing the one downstairs to someone. I was about 10 or 11 at the time. I don1t remember what I was having, juice or hot chocolat or something. I remember I choked and went to the window to spit out. Almost got the lady that was viewing the unit. I remember at brokerages by me it was basically 50/50 split between listing agent and buyers agent. Then the brokerage took 30% of that split. Then your mentor took 50%. So normally you got 18% of the commission for the first year. Also, you paid all marketing costs (mailers) but the brokerage would put weekly listings in the paper.

I hate that insurance can just claim something is an “act of God” and not cover the damage. These are multi-billion dollar companies that we homeowners pay out the *** for and when in need they try to weasel out of everything. I was recently in a hit and run accident (the person was actually caught, luckily) and my car insurance has quickly paid all costs associated but I honestly was so anxious they wouldn’t pay anything despite me being a perfect customer up til. Just gross how so many companies will take your money, then abandon you when you needed them. I feel for this family so much.

Insurance denies coverage wrongfully all the time! Anything large loss. It’s so upsetting and unregulated. They influence who the judges are in civil courts too and drag out suits in insanely sick ways. (Hope the family gets some help in the end!)

I will say it’s bit misleading to say there’s no resources online talking about splits…I’ve watched plenty of videos from fellow realtors on YT being extremely transparent about that. And I feel the condo situation could’ve been discussed without putting the footage of the unkept home on blast.
@MonicaChurch Жыл бұрын
I totally disagree, I can't find anywhere online people discuss their team splits! I always see people discussing their brokerage split, but not team. Not trying to be misleading, just my own experience :)

Monica's ring finger is SIGNIFCANTLY shorter than her index finger. While it is normal for females to have a shorter ring finger relative to index finger (i.e. low 2D:4D ratio (2D = index; 4D = ring), Monica's is quite dramatic and indicates a low testosterone level :D

Do you ever feel like you’re all alone and no one cares about you? I want you to know something: you’re not alone. God cares about you. God loves you, and you don’t have to ever be lonely again. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". (john 3:16) For Jesus says "we are worth more than sparrows" (Luke 12:7). Now, in order to remove this pain and emptiness we need to follow Jesus... and he’s just a prayer away. You can just pray a prayer like this: 'Father God, I want you to come into my life. Forgive me of my sins. I want to start this relationship with you now. Amen'.. If you’ll pray a prayer like that, God will hear it.
