You're exactly right about the front axle stress - if you look at the specs it's insane how *little* you can (should) lift w/out counterweight due to front axle load limit. Good on you for turning your mistake into a teaching opportunity for the 'next guy or gal.

I have a CX2510HST cab with filled tires. I always have the box blade or tiller on the 3 pt when using bucket or forks. It is night and day using loader without ballast. You are correct they are awesome little machines that definitely help get things done.

@Stankfoot_01 after getting my ballast box and cramming as much weight in it as I can, I STILL have a loss in traction with the rear tires when I'm lifting something heavy with the loader and I wonder how I ever ran that tractor without ballast. Definitely improves the function of the machine alot. They are great tractors when used properly lol

I don’t think your loose bucket issue is with the pins, it’s the cylinders and hydraulic system…..try this, lift the bucket and do a full dump cycle, then place it on the ground with the front edge 2 inches off the ground and the back on the ground (like you have in the video), leave the tractor running and now step on the front edge with your foot, I’ll bet it’s rock solid.

A little grinding on your bucket should fix it just fine. Just add the tooth bar

@noname6568 be sure to check out all my other videos. I got a toothbar and it works great

To a cutting edge on the bucket, it won't wear out the bucket itself. And it's revisable cutting edge.

Yes you can put a snowblower on the front of your CK2510

I just took delivery of my CX250H. What do you find is the sweet spot RPM-wise when operating it?
@skywatcherranchswr17 күн бұрын
@solaarboy well it depends on the situation, It has a recommended max of about 2600rpm I think but I always run under that. Usually 2000-2200. Obviously higher rpm speeds up hydraulics and travel speed. I often do full throttle if I'm pulling something in lower gear or traveling down the highway in high gear
@solaarboy17 күн бұрын
@@skywatcherranchswr Thanks for that. Speaking of high gear, how does your CX handle small inclines in High range?
@solaarboy17 күн бұрын
@@skywatcherranchswr Another Q re: break-in period. Did you go through a break in period for say, XX hours?
@skywatcherranchswr17 күн бұрын
@solaarboy as far as small inclines I'm not really sure what counts as a small incline but if you are stopped on a hill and wanting to drive up the hill in high gear it's going to whine and struggle. I think the high gear is too high and the low gear isn't low enough and if there was a middle gear it would be a much better machine. I ran it to 50 hours and did first service and I think that was the break in period

How much weight did you put in tha Ballest Box?
@skywatcherranchswr4 ай бұрын
@Candoguy I keep forgetting the numbers ( I should have wrote it down) but I think I'm at 8 bags of sand at 60lbs each. I also have some steel pieces in the bottom for at least another 50lbs. Also the box the ballast box got delivered in said it weighed over 100lbs, and it is heavy, but I don't believe it's 100lbs at all. So total maybe about 600lbs give or take total.

Are you sure your loader wasn't loose when you first purchased your CX2510? The play in the front end looks pretty normal to me.
@skywatcherranchswr4 ай бұрын
@AndrewX192 honestly maybe it's always been like that. But I could of sworn it used to be tighter, it never use to rattle either, now it does.

It's a tractor is meant to be used.You can't keep it clean and nice and tight like a car
