Good morning i am a former filipino and now an american citizen but did not apply for a dual citizenship.My question is if i travel to the Philippines and have no intention to stay longer than 1 or 2 months do i have to show my old Philippine passport or not and where do i line up in a foreign passport holder or balikbayan line when entering the country thank you very much.

There is no Balikbayan line.. Lines depend on the passport you are holding. Better to be safe than sorry so bring your old PH passport.

My mom has dual citizenship (American & Filipino). She arrived in the Philippines in April 2024...does this mean she needs to leave the Philippines before April 2025 ... thanks

Kung dual citizen na ang nanay mo, regarded na sya as Filipino citizen. Kaya pwede sya manatili sa Pinas hanggang kailan nya gusto. 😊

thank you. may i ask, we are dual citizenship of Great Britain UK & Philippines(we reaquired being filipino citizen). if we became US citizen, do we still need to reaquire again our Philippines citizenship or not anymore ? obviously we are renouncing our UK citizenship but not being Filipino. thanks.
