There are different types of preservatives. I would advise that you ask your bakery store owner they are in the best position to tell you which one to use and how best to use it.

Thanks for the video. Can a flaky meatpie while hot become something else when it gets cold? I made meat pies and while they were hot, they had the perfect taste but by the time they turned cold, I didn't understand what i was eating. Please, is there some explanation for this?

I am so sorry that happened to you. I don't really know why, but I would suggest you check the quality of your your ingredients. Make sure you are using good quality flour, avoid cassava flour if possible, and make sure your butter is of the finest quality. I hope this helps

This charcoal oven how can you control the fire please. Because I try making meatpie with gas(the 3kg gas) the 3kg gas is very annoying it doesn't not have control, after putting it on a low heat it increases automatically every seconds I have to low increase, increase low and it very frustrating... And it ended up burning all my meatpie after 2 good hours on fire. Pls any help

I'm so sorry about that. For the charcoal oven, you can control it by using less charcoal. If it gets too hot, you can reduce the quantity of charcoal to reduce the heat after leaving it to heat up and the dust removed before putting your pie in the oven. Just as explained in the video.
